The installation was great

The installation was great. Nice and easy, great guy installing it - however, despite ringing Ecotricity after a few weeks to remind them my readout panel still has not been activated.

The technician who came to install our…

The technician who came to install our smart meter was on time, quick and efficient – and communication surrounding the installation was frequent and helpful. However, the meter that was installed was a new one that the technician was not familiar with, so he could not tell us how it worked, nor was there a manual that came with it. We were pretty much left to our own devices, and we still don't really know how to use the information the meter generates to our best interest.

Terrible service

Needed to arrange about four different appointments due to engjneers not having working devices, reporting faults that were not faults, missing appointments and not providing home display. Customer service gaslit me saying I rearranged an appointment when they couldn't make it. When I complained they just replied with my complaints with added inaccuracy. Didn't offer compensation. I needed to take five days off work and the whole process took over four months.

Engineer not properly trained

Engineer left with solar panels not working after he switched them back on. He also left solar I boost disconnected and lying in electric box. He didn’t know what it was for and thought it was ‘old kit that didn’t work anymore’.
He clearly didn’t know about solar systems. Company sent out another engineer 5days later to install the I boost . I sorted the solar panels myself.

Fuss-free professional service !!

All good - fast painless service. I thought changing to a smart meter was going to be quite disruptive or cause more problems but Calisen acted very professionally & made it all very easy. 5 stars from me !!!
