The story begins in 1975 when Don Jose Luna would visit close family friends at the family owned tequila distilleries in Aranda’s and would get private batches of tequila moonshine style. Overtime he developed a taste for the finest of tequilas and would share these private batches with friends and family. Around 2003, the next generation carried on the same traditions in San Diego. The demand grew and in 2014 the Luna family and close family friend, Phil Salvagio, wanted to share this special tequila. After several trips, family tastings and ensuring a craft luxury tequila – CaliFino was born.

Excellent! Califino not only has wonderful tequila, but they have been making custom boxes for our Annual Car Show for the past 4 years. Our winners are very impressed with the glass work - as are we! They turn the boxes around very quickly for us and do an excellent job every time. Thank you!

Tasty tequila-we will be back for more
We loved coming to one of our favorite restaurants, Casa de Bandini, even though it is a 30-minute drive. (It's well worth it! ) The Califino team was polite, educational, and well-prepared. The presentation was informative and fun to listen to. My husband and I were seated across from people we knew, (our neighbors believe it or not) making for a delightful night.
The event was well done, the tequila was tasty and delicious and paired well with the yummy food served. Throughout the evening, 2 questions were asked, and I was lucky enough to answer one correctly to win a prize! (a 4 pack of tequila sampler) We enjoyed the CALIFINO tequila so much, we ordered a full-sized bottle of reposada when we got home. We were happy to hear that your tequila is the one being served at Casa de Bandid.
We had such a lovely evening, we are looking forward to coming back to your NEXT tasting, if you'll let us know when it is.

I have been a consumer of Califino for several.years and had an opportunity to visit your corporate lounge in Carlsbad.
I enjoy the smoothness and flavor of the Extra Anejo and have sent my friends in Guam a bottle or two. Which they thoroughly enjoyed.
Califino has become my Tequila of choice as of late.
I always recommend this product to all my friends and acquaintances.
