Good for beginners. Great for advancement.
For years, I was a self-trained ultrarunner who had no strength training regimen (except for a year of CrossFit, where I ended up with an ankle injury that sidelined my running for almost two years). Basically, I had no experience in a traditional gym — and no comfort trying it on my own.
In 2024, I had both hips replaced and was sedentary during the recovery. I gained pounds and lost fitness. The reality of aging hit me when I had enough distance from the surgeries to begin recovery. But I had no idea where to begin.
Caliber has been a lifesaver in that regard thanks to Ginny, my personal trainer from the program. The Caliber app is great — easy to navigate, good analytics, a nice dashboard for progress — but it's Ginny that's made all of the difference. Her support in dietary and training guidance saved me months (maybe years) of trial and error in terms of self-guided learning. She got me on a path and has helped me stick to it (and advance down it) with every consultation.
I feel great and have made significant progress in my goals in the two months I've worked with Ginny on Caliber, and I look forward to continued progress in the future.
The Great Coach Quinn Taylor
1st I want to say I really like the app of Caliber fitness but what makes the app even better is having a trainer. Coach Quinn Taylor by far has been one of the greatest coaches I've had online. He really cares about getting you to your goals and make every effort to meet you where you are and bring you to where you want to be. I dont leave many reviews but. I had to let everyone know who is looking for a great online Coach I recommend Coach Q!!! Any day of the week. Thanks Coach for your motivation, patience and diligence working with me!!
I’ve been using the Caliber Fitness app…
I’ve been using the Caliber Fitness app and have been really impressed. The exercise library is huge, every move has a video, and it’s so easy to build your own workouts and track your reps and weights history over time.
I chose to work with one of their online coaches, Blake, because I wanted guidance on workout structure, form, and choosing exercises that support my knees and bone strength. Blake has been fantastic—really listened to what I needed, tailored everything to my goals, and gave clear, practical advice.
I was skeptical at first about getting form corrections online, but sending videos and getting feedback has worked surprisingly well. Being able to watch myself back and see exactly what needs adjusting has actually helped the corrections stick.
Blake has been encouraging, responsive, and genuinely enjoyable to work with. Overall, it’s been a really positive experience and I’m glad I signed up.

I have been working out somewhat regularly for 15+ years and have stayed in decent shape, but never felt like I was properly focused or pushing myself to the level I should be. Looking into conventional personal training, my busy work schedule and family life did not align with any of the options I found. That's when I heard about Caliber. I was hesitant that virtual training would not be what I was hoping for, but decided to sign up for an initial three month period. Tim, my trainer, has been great to work with from day 1 and has been encouraging and supportive as I adjusted from my old habits and began the new routine. Fast forward to today, I'm about five months in at this point, and probably in the best shape of my adult life. More importantly the guidance and accountability from Caliber has kept me more consistent in my strength workouts. I'm looking forward to continuing to make steady progress--Caliber has been a great fit for me so far!

Love Caliber...I chose a paid membership monthly to have access to a trainer...they match you with a trainer based on your personality, goals, etc...I was matched with Tanner, he's been a huge help to me..always friendly and knowledgeable and checks to see how I'm doing with meals and the assigned exercises..there is a text feature so that you can message your trainer directly if you have questions..I am at about 10 weeks and have noticed real changes!

I have worked with various trainers over the course of time but yet I kept getting stuck on my own. I partnered with Caliber and was paired with Noelle. She has been exceptional because of her knowledge base. She is caring and understands that I need food to recompose my body but also that I need to balance my meals to lose weight.

I’ve had an excellent experience with the Caliber online fitness program. My coach, Adriana, designed workouts specifically for my needs that are both motivating and challenging. The app is user-friendly and really helps you see progress, which pushes you to keep improving.
I have weekly communication with Adriana and can email her whenever questions come up. She is extremely educated, supportive, and takes the time to clearly explain everything, especially regarding my lean muscle mass nutrition plan. I feel confident, supported, and motivated, and I’m really looking forward to the next couple of months!

The initial call to determine if this was an appropriate program was just the start. I signed up and was paired with my coach Kaitlyn, who is AMAZING. She is an expert in her field and a very effective motivator. She is knowledgeable and is able to answer any question I may have. I always feel pumped after our regular strategy calls. The caliber app as well as the Cronometer apps are very user-friendly. My husband referred me and I’ve referred my sister and brother in law. Compared to other weight loss methods I’ve tried in the past, the Caliber system is effective and something I can stick with for the long-term. I’m grateful to Caliber for helping me reach my weight loss goal!
Fantastic Coaching Program!
The app itself is free and there are a ton of different features to utilize. As more or less a beginner to weight training, I love the in depth instructions for each exercise as well as the short video to show you how to do it correctly.
I opted to do a 3 month coaching plan to help me stay accountable and get me on track. My coach, Regina, was AMAZING in getting set up on a sustainable plan that included lifting, movement, and nutrition. My goal was to lose weight in a healthy and sustainable way. I dropped 7% in both weight and waist size. Beyond that, I FEEL so much better. I’m grateful to the Caliber team for helping me with my goals!

Game Changer If You Want to Get Stronger
I've used several fitness apps over the years, and Caliber has the best feature set and ease of use of any of them. Two things really stand out: when you put in your reps for an exercise, it automatically starts the timer, and the form videos for an exercise run at the top of each log so you don't have to go to another window or app. It's the small things that make this app shine. In addition, I have a coach, Kirsten, through Caliber, and it's been a game changer for me. She has full access to the app to see what I'm doing, make substitutions and recommend alternative exercises. We meet by Zoom once a week, and we talk about the exercises, the challenges she has for me for the following week, and fitness. I was a bit skeptical of having a remote trainer, but Kirsten has been the best. She sends me comments and questions in the app after each of my workouts. I'm getting personal bests on several exercises every day (I'm doing about 45 mins - 1 hour on strength training, four days a week). Highly recommend Caliber and the coaching.
Caliber is perfect if you have some…
Caliber is perfect if you have some training experience and are ready to give it a go on your own. I found Caliber after I had used other apps with other trainers with some success. I loved working with my trainers but I wanted more autonomy and needed to be able to go to the gym when my schedule allowed, and not always when my trainer was available. I wanted the gym to become MY place, not a place where I met a trainer.
I was skeptical that I could find a trainer I could trust with my food issues, but I was willing to try. I lucked out when I was connected with Shannon. I slowly and cautiously began to share my challenges with her. Together with nutrition modifications and Shannon's positive coaching, I began to zig zag my way forward, slowly making changes to my lifestyle. I still have a long ways to go.
Shannon is a real inspiration. She is honest, tough, and committed and wants you to be too. She is human, empathetic, and resilient and wants these attributes for you too. No shame here. Only forward progress. Key here: Mental and physical movement forward.
My challenge is a long term one because I am want to make permanent changes so that I am physically strong and mentally capable as can be.

I love the Caliber app and training…
I love the Caliber app and training system. My coach Jordan is top-notch. He has worked closely with me to fine-tune my workouts and encourage me to keep pushing. Jordan's been incredibly responsive and has answered a ton of questions I've had about strength training (which I've never done). In general, I love the app. I need the structure of set days with progressively harder workouts. The "personal bests" function absolutely motivates me to move to the next weight/rep levels -- I know I'm getting to 30 push ups by Christmas! The history tab allows me to figure out if I've lingered too long at a certain weight and need to push it. I constantly check the "how to" videos to make sure that I'm doing the exercises correctly, and the ability to swap out exercises allows me to work out at different gyms (which have different equipment). I've been using the app for 4 months and my frame has already changed. Thanks!
If you always do what you always did, you’ll always get what you always got.
I wanted different results from things I’ve tried before, and wanted to work out at home, at a time that worked for me, which fits my full-time-plus job. I read a lot of reviews, and decided to roll the dice with Caliber, and I’m glad I did.
I feel that the whole program is very, very well put together. It very slowly, incrementally introduces new aspects of tuning up your body, introducing new things a little at a time, and only one thing at a time, until it feels like a solid part of the routine, and continually builds on this. Time goes by, and before you know it, you’ve got a solid routine.
My coach, Tess Kachiroubas, is awesome. She is very knowledgeable and is always positive and supportive. When I tell her I can’t do something, she tells me what I can do to modify and build from there, or swaps it out for something workable, to build up to where I actually can do it. She’s helped me be able to do things I thought I would never be able to do, after only 3 months: I can do a side plank, a front plank, and a wall sit. And, I’ve lost about 10 pounds, which is awesome.
I am 61 years old, and a year past an emergency hip replacement. I was worried Caliber was really for younger, much more fit people than myself, but that’s not the case. Also, I was self-conscious about going to a gym, where people would be more fashionable than I care to be at a workout.
I’m thrilled to be able to workout in my own home, by adding just a few pieces of inexpensive equipment, some from Facebook Marketplace, which Tess suggested, and at times that mesh with my job, where my days and work hours are often different from day to day.
I’ve also noticed that I’ve created more self-discipline at work and at home, in getting things done.
It is pricey, but when I think about what we pay for health care, even with good insurance, here’s what it comes down to, for me: what other health care can I buy, which will increase my balance, stability and strength? I’ve spent more money on things that matter much less.
My long-term goal with Caliber is to create a great routine and discipline for myself, to the point I feel comfortable weaning myself away from my trainer, and going it on my own, perhaps with a trainer tune-up from time to time.
I’m glad I tried it, and I recommend Caliber.

While working with Terry I have lost 20lbs in the past 2 and a half months. I have learned alot and am now much more confident in handling my nutrition and strength building.
Positive and Reliable Support with Results!
For years I’ve known I need to do strength training but was too intimidated- how to start, what to do how often to go to the gym, how to progress, and how to pick a trainer at my gym. Caliber is great because there are many options, but starting with the 1:1 training was personal while allowing me some anonymity as I implemented my personalized plan and got comfortable. Cassandra gave lots of feedback through text and weekly zoom calls, making changes as needed, explaining both workouts and nutritional plans with lots of encouragement and facts.
As I lost both weight and inches while seeing body transformation and strength gain over the initial 3 months, I was not given a hard sell to continue at that level and scaled back to a lower level of 1:1 support that still gives me my weekly plan and Cassandra still gives regular feedback by text.
The Caliber app is great- syncs with fitness watch and is so easy to log profess and follow work out plan.
Going to the gym is now fun, as I see results and feel like I belong there!
Awesome experience
This has been an amazing experience! I have been an active person all my life. I have trained in dance, cross fit, strength, running, martial arts, and I have lost and gained weight throughout my life. After having kids, that all changed, and everything that worked for me before did not work now. During the initial consultation, I felt like my thoughts and concerns were being heard. I've been paired with Coach Cassandra, and she has truly been the best coach. I have learned so much. I've learned how to incorporate habits that fit the healthy, active lifestyle that I've dreamt for myself while working full-time with a young family. Her empathetic nature is a great fit for me as I'm one that needs to make that internal decision to make changes. This process has been so enlightening, and I'm so grateful to have found Caliber. I've been working with Coach Cassandra for 5 months. I've lost 4 inches on my waist and 20.4lbs in a sustainable way. I am also lifting heavier than I have in the past, and I'm just getting started. This has been one of the best decisions, and I'm excited to keep going.
