Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Many people find the service easy to use, appreciating its ability to automate scheduling and integrate with other calendars, which saves them time and effort. Customers often highlight its effectiveness for one-on-one meetings and its flexibility in managing availability. The booking process is generally seen as straightforward for clients, making it easier for them to schedule appointments. However, some people were dissatisfied with the customer service, describing it as unhelpful and unresponsive to issues. There are also concerns about the website and user experience, with some finding the interface confusing, not intuitive, or experiencing issues with syncing and notifications. A few other people also felt that the service is cumbersome for team meetings or specific regional bookings, like those in the UK, where it reportedly provides incorrect time slots.

Limited Support Options for Free Accounts

The lack of customer support offered to free accounts is disappointing. You only get email support offered (which initially took up them almost a week to respond to, which is wild). After I responded, still unable to fix the issue, the support team ghosted me. I was not negative or aggressive in my emails, so I do not know why they never followed up.

I did some googling over the following days and was able to solve the problem on my own. I'm just disappointed with my customer support experience. I am starting to look into alternative scheduling platforms with better customer support options because of this experience.

If you pay for your account, you do get live chat support. However, a paid account would not make sense for my needs. If you have a free account, this is something to consider.

Really do not like the new format

Really do not like the new format. Can't access details as quickly as I used to by having contact info on one tab, and then description on another tab, and I can't find past appointments as I have need to on occasion. The setup of old was very quick to view different appointments and to find expired appointments as well.

Great too for independent consultants/coaches, etc.

I have been using Calendly for a few years now. As an independent consultant, it gives me a lot of flexibility for arranging meetings without playing the usual tag of "Please suggest some dates that work for you" "No sorry, none of those work for me"! Calendly makes it really easy with lots of options and power at your fingertips.

This is an awful system

This is an awful system. I have tried to book in to meet with people that use it and on multiple occasions I have just been left waiting for people that never turn up for the meeting. I have read that there are issues with this working for people in the UK. If you are a recruiter, sales person or any other business that is planning to use this... please don't.

Bots are using the Calendly app to spam…

Bots are using the Calendly app to spam my Google Calendar with fake events. The bots are asking for money using the Calendly App, pretending to be my phone operator. Those invites are annoying and often contain suspicious links. Have a nice day.

Warning: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR UK BOOKINGS

Warning - do not use this company if you want to get UK clients and are based in a different country. We are based in Australia and use Calendly for our global bookings. It NEVER works for the UK. We end up looking bad, losing credibility and it's cost us tens of thousands in lost business.

I've tried multiple times to contact their support for help and they always fob me off and say it's the client problem - well I can tell you that it's not.

Customer support is unhelpful and rather than escalate this for investigation they just look for ways to wriggle out of it.

Go elsewhere this is a waste of your time.

Up until recently I would have given…

Up until recently I would have given calendly 5 stars, but they recently changed their format - you can't find anything. Their phone number has a recording that says: We do not take call just go to the website if you need anything. All of the stuff I had in there is gone. I had a client email me saying she just booked a meeting and wondered how we were going to connect. That's when I discovered they changed the format. There is a whole company who is leaving calendly for that reason alone.

FRAUD + Calendly

FRAUD + Calendly

While dealing with a fraud issue and having to get a new card etc - I notified calendly they said it was fine that I could update the card. My cc it said was going to take 5-7 business days to get to me.

Calendly canceled my account instead of waiting for my new card information.

Do not trust them as they do not care about their customers and their service department ghosts you rather than address why they said one thing and then canceled your account without notice.

Truly awful customer service

Truly awful customer service. Takes weeks to get in touch with a customer service representative, meanwhile, we're paying for an account that we cannot access. Rip-off.

Disappointing Experience with Calendly's Handling of Booking Redirects and Support

I used Calendly to schedule participants for a 5-day challenge, integrating it with Google Ads and a thank-you page that also served as a conversion tracking point and intake form.

After noticing zero conversions from 4 days of advertising spend, I investigated the flow and discovered a significant issue: Calendly inserts an interstitial warning that my thank-you page is "unsafe"—before redirecting users.

This warning completely undermines the user journey and effectively blocks conversions. I contacted Calendly support to understand what triggered the warning and how to resolve it. Shockingly, they stated they do not know who flagged the link, cannot remove the warning, and have no control over the issue.

If that’s accurate, it raises serious concerns about Calendly’s ability to manage or support third-party integrations—especially when these issues directly affect business performance.

Unfortunately, I’ve had to cancel both my Calendly subscription and my ad campaigns while I search for a more reliable scheduling platform. Very disappointing, especially given the otherwise solid UI.

Don't respond to customer support emails

These used to be a good company. I have been unable to log in to my account because I had to rapidly change my work emails due to a hack. Needless to say I forgot to change my Calendly email at the time and now I can't log in.
Because I can't log in I can't access the live chat so have had to email. Sent at least 3-4 emails over the last few days and nothing.
My subscription is due for renewal in a month but if I don't get any resolution by the end of next week I will be asking the credit card company to block the call on the funds.
Appalling service when you really needed it

What a great product, what inadequate tech support

What a great product; what horrible service. I spent 1.5 hrs trying to self-diagnose my problem, much of that time trying to get a live agent, not a bot. Then that agent spent 3 hr with an abandoned the chat in the middle of dealing with my issue, claiming I had been gone for over 4 minutes, nope it less than that. Now I'm in 6 hours into working with 2 agent and they just keep trying the same attempts over an over. My request to escalate the matter were ignored. Another company that pays its employees to get rid of it's customers. What a shame because when the product works, it's a huge time save but if I have to lose a whole day of work to fix glitches, that's too steep a price.
