My boyfriend ordered a birthday cake from here to surprise me, but the whole thing turned into a total disaster.

The cake arrived completely smashed and ruined. When we reached out, the shop just tried to dodge responsibility and blamed their delivery courier. On top of that, their refund policy is just ridiculous—they actually expected me to ship a ruined, melting cake back to them within 24 hours on a weekend (when post offices are closed!), or settle for a pathetic 20% refund.

To make it even worse, we tried a bit of the part that wasn't totally crushed, and it tasted awful. It was shockingly, aggressively sweet and had absolutely no flavor. Just tasted completely cheap.

They ruined my birthday surprise, gave terrible customer service, and bake horrible cakes. Honestly, save your money and go literally anywhere else. Absolutely unacceptable.

I was after a slight variation of one of the existing designs, discussed over WhatsApp and got my order created. Very helpful :) if the cake tastes as good as the service I'll be over the moon 😂

It is my 5th order each cake perfect. Family tried many comps and even cake makers via Facebook. Either awful or awful and unreliable failure to deliver due to being lazy.
By far the best unanimously from my family.

I would like caker street for doing my daughter and sons birthday cake and delivered straight to my door with no issues the cake was packed very well and delivered with care thank you the chocolate cake was beautiful everyone loved it the size of my 12 inch cake was so massive worth every penny cake was just how I saw it online I will continue to order cakes from them in future thank you for a good service I ordered 3 weeks in advance and they delivered on time with no delays

I ordered the snooker table cake for my husbands 50th birthday. I was sceptical as they are expensive cakes and ordered online worried I would be scammed. I called to confirm they received my order. They communicated with me on the day of delivery ( I made sure it was a few days before the special day) and it was delivered as expected with a time slot given beforehand. I could track the driver too. The cake was amazing and so well packaged. No damage at all and it was all perfection. Thank you so much :0)

It was so easy! I chose the theme, added the size, the message and date for delivery and it turned up just after mid day on that date in a large box, really well protected with padded ice packs.
The cake was outstanding and tasted really good. There was plenty to go round and plenty left for those who wanted to take some home. Everybody commented on what a great design it was!

Cake arrived around time given. It was all in tact and my 2 yr old Grandaughter, a huge fan of Bluey, was in awe of it her little face when the cake was bought out was a picture. The cake was tasty and went don’t a treat with everyone. Would recommend

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! Cake did not arrive. I was charged and refund never honored. No response to multiple message and emails online. Over 80 pounds spent on the cake. A four year old boys birthday ruined. Lots of tears.

I recently order a cake for my husbands 60th birthday. When it arrived I was very very disappointed, icing was shabby and missing off parts of the silver serving board, the laser cut picture in the top (I thought it was going yo be actual design with icing!!) was truly rubbish , very uneven and just stuck on the top . I contacted them regarding how I felt and they don’t bother to answer you! Please do spend and waste your money on this company. I was so disappointed

Unfortunately despite the cake being well presented and just as it looked in the picture the customer service let this company down.

The process of ordering was complicated by a very odd booking system and which I had to go back snd forth several times before they got the order right.

Despite me going to great lengths to explain the need for the cake to be delivered on time, it was late. Resulting in me being an hour late to my daughters milestone 30th birthday dinner which ruined her significant and special day.

Whilst waiting for its arrival, my attempts to request an ETA to enable me to contingency plan, were ignored causing undue concern, anxiety and disappointment. They became uncontactable by both landline and WhatsApp.

When the driver eventually turned up she refused to deliver it to my door and I had to greet her outside. She offered no immediate apology so I asked what had caused the delay to be greeted to a insincere slightly defensive explanation.

In circumstances whereby your customers are reliant upon your service for significant life events and to create lasting memories, the very least you can do is ensure that timeliness is on par with the quality of your product.

It is basic common courtesy to communicate with your customers and give sufficient advance notice in the unfortunate event that you are going to be significantly late. I had to chase you and was greeted with vague, unhelpful responses, then 'radio silence'

To date no apology, the offer to provide this feedback directly ignored.

The score is bumped up to 3 for fairness and balance purposes. The cake was fab 👌🏽

I was sceptical at ordering a cake online especially as it was expensive but the cake arrived on the promised date, looked just like the picture and tasted good! It was a rock/guitar cake for my husbands 50th and I was so pleased it looked great
