I had to make a Google account just to leave this review. Café Viggo in Copenhagen was an absolutely awful experience. I went last weekend, and the doorman was aggressive and intimidating toward multiple guests and appeared completely out of control. He repeatedly tried to provoke fights, and no other staff stepped in to stop it. He definitely seemed intoxicated, probably all coked up.

The music didn’t help either; the DJ was bad and only added to the overall negative and unsafe vibe. Easily one of the worst nights out I’ve had. 0/10, would never go back again.

After a 60th birthday and a good dinner. We finished at Cafe Viggo. We arrived a little after 23:00. We are told that they close at 01.00. We order a bottle of wine 3 glasses and 3 beers. Very nice waiter. After ten minutes we see them start stacking the chairs as the guests start to leave. About. At 23.30 all the chairs were stacked. About. At 11.40 pm, a new waitress takes the water we paid NOK 50 for, the rest of the wine and all the glasses. I politely ask why she is doing this. She answered arrogantly, here I decide and now it's closing time.. Hope the owner of cafe Viggo reads this. I have never experienced such unsavory and unprofessional behavior.

very nice food and good service but the aqustic is terrible/loud and drags the hole experience down. I will for this reason only, not come back.
