Ridiculous, dishonest application, Don’t use!!!

Ridiculous! How could they charge me when I have already cancelled the trip? In the app it shows 0 money is charged, but then I recieved a message from my credit card saying that I was charged by Cabify for the full estimated fare, which is 33eur. The app is absolutely trying to scam me! When I tried to report the problem, the system tried to tell me that cancellation after the driver is assigned after 5mins will charge me the minimum fee. First, they never warned me of that. Second, I certainly had cancelled within 5 minutes or the system wouldn’t have shown 0 eur is charged!!! I’m not even saying that no proper taxi company will charge a trip that doesn’t even exist at all! DONT USE THIS APP OR YOU WILL REGRET!!!!!!

Cabify Spain is a joke

The worst customer service I have ever encountered in my life. Absolute joke. And that lack of professionalism is becoming apparent in the standard of its drivers now. Forget the increasingly less offered free water and use Free Now to get a normal local cab.

This company is a scam please do not use. They are not like Uber in the way they fix their prices. You can see one price and it will completely change and you will be massively overcharged. Do not use!!

Completely useless in Alicante

Alicante,24/12,12.30 am, cabify says 3 minutes, after waiting outside for 20 mins the time had changed to 12 mins. Following the car all over town the times kept changing, 3,11,4,16,4,20. Cancelled this useless service

My daughter just finished her study…

My daughter just finished her study abroad in Seville, Spain. She booked a car with Cabify for a 6 a.m. pickup for her flight back to the US. After reading all the horror stories in the reviews I was so nervous for her to use this company.
I must say, I couldn't be more pleased with the service. The driver picked her up at 6:06 a.m. in a Mercedes, they picked up a fellow student and were dropped off at the airport within 20 minutes. The entire time I was receiving email updates as to her travel in the cab. Very happy with this service, regardless of all the negative reviews I've read.

Utterly disgusted with their service! Do not use!

They charged me for a service trip which I did not receive as the driver decided to not show up and picked up someone else instead! I tried to contact the driver numerous times yet he kept rejecting all of my calls. In addition to this, I texted him 12 messages in all, he did not even bother to reply to at least one of which! To make it worse, they charged me an additional charge of eur8 over the estimated price indicated on the app, as the destination point differed from the one I indicated on the app! Obviously!!!!!!!!

I raised the matter through the app, and someone named Laura was assigned with my matter in order to ‘help’ me, however she did nothing except killing me from the inside. 14 emails have been sent in all with loads of evidence and proof, and no refund has been received to date! (This matter has been going on for week and a half) I am disgusted with their service. Definitely would not make use of their service ever again!

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star, in Madrid and the driver didn’t turn his metre off when we got out and instead of it been a 40€ journey we were charged 108€. Disgusting and a complete scam. DO NOT USE.

There should be minus ratings. I booked a 9.30 A.M. private pickup with Cabify in PORTUGAL through a London number for JAYRIDE. The day before pickup I was sent an email from Jayride changing the time to 8.00 A.M. On trying to ring the number given, I found this was in SPAIN and for a shared cab and no one in the department answered. So, awaiting pickup therefore 8 a.m., at 7.57 [!!] I received another email from Jayride saying that Cabify could not find a driver. It transpired that Cabify do not operate in the town where I was, which Jayride should surely have known. So I give Cabify one star and in fact put the blame on Jayride though naturally they are blaming Cabify. They are giving me a refund and have offered 10% off a future booking. Do they really think I would trust them?

I have completed three journeys in…

I have completed three journeys in València and the all three transactions were made from the Revolut EUR account. A few days later, I have noticed that they charged me again for the last journey which was obviously paid out, but at this time I have been charged from my GBP account. I have contacted them, but aparently they process very slow. I do not recommend them as they ar not trusty. I have contacted them trough their app but so far they have not refund the amount that they owe me. I attached the bank statements from both my accountants(Revolut EUR and GBP) to prove them that the last charged has been duplicated. Cabify give my money back!

Advertised discount was invalid. False marketing.

They sent me an email advertising X% off of my next journey. I clicked on the link IN THAT EMAIL to book a ride. The discount was not applied in the end. When I contacted customer service they said the discount was only for private accounts and apparently mine was ’corporate’. Well, did they not know that when they sent the discount email to my CORPORATE email adress? Scam. Also, the always charge a lot over the initial quote.

Very disappointed

Was told that the drive would arrive in 4 mins, however once booked was told 14 mins.
I was running late, and though it might be quicker to just wait, instead of calling a Taxi.

The driver ended up freezing at 4 mins for about 5 mins, before I decided to just call a Taxi, who arrived a lot quicker. Hence I cancelled.

I was still charged 5.99 Euro, even though I have contacted customer service, and tried to rectify.
They told me regardless of how long it was taking I only had 5 mins to cancel or I had to be charged.

A Taxi ended up costing less. However was really disappointed with the misleading dishonest service I received. Plus how difficult customer service were to deal with

Don’t download the app

Don’t download the app.
The arrival time of the driver is calculated completely wrong. After the confirmation the arrival time takes longer and longer. I recommend to take a regular taxi, as they are easier to find and in a lot of cases are cheaper!
After using the app several times I am done and deleted it.

AVOID THIS SCAM

This app is a scam with dodgy drivers!!!!

Quoted taxi fare of €26-31 for a journey that I have taken on other occasions from the airport (usually €30-35). Final billed cost was €53 that was accompanied with a journey that I didn't take!

Response from them was:

"We have reviewed the case and we confirm that the charge is correct. We want to inform you that the price that you can check in the app in this category is estimated.

The final price is calculated via taximeter according to local regulation."

Not sure how this app can misquote so heavily at 11 pm at night - but just supports the scam of it all really.

Also had three charges to my card for one journey (SCAM)

Driver was dodgy has hell - could barely drive and was asking me to navigate (SCAM)

If you do not care about you and yours go for it.
First try to find a number to call this Cabify Organisation ! No way to find it !
Second if you ask for a cab, he is able to call you during is approach and you are able to do it too.
After arriving and it is done no way to contact the driver ! If you loose something in the car it is impossible to catch someone !
Not the driver and even no Cabify organisation, you have to go through their online system and someone is writing you after 2 hours telling you that if something is in the cab they will inform you later ! That is a joke ! Imagine you loose your passport in the cab. No one cares ! You are stuck ! They are unable to call the cab or giving you the phone number of the cab... Are they serious ? No way !!!!
This is not serious at all, not a company taking care of their customers... just kind of opportunists play behind Uber !!! But even not able to do it better in terms of customer relations !!!
Forget about it !!!

Not a trustworthy company

Not a trustworthy company. The driver said he showed up but when I asked where he’s at he never responded. And in 2 minutes I received a message that the driver left already. I tried to message him and call him but without any success. I emailed the company but never get an email back. I will cancel my credit card and hope they will not take anymore money from it. I was told by my hotel in Porto, Portugal that Cabify is not reliable and should have used Uber instead.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!

I ordered a cab in Mexico, the driver didn't want to come and then called to say that we have to walk to his meeting place because he doesn't want to get to us(mentioned that the road was closed but there were tons of cars around and Uber came without any problem).

We canceled the first trip because the driver was awful(we were charged part of it) and then ordered another one. Surprise surprise, we were assigned to the same driver, but we didn't cancel this time.

5 minutes later, when we mentioned we're not canceling the trip, they somehow canceled it(the driver) and the account was deactivated(?????).

Uber came without any problem, so this scam of an app that doesn't have any kind of support service should be avoided at all costs.

The worst cusomer service ever!

Taxi-app. The drivers are hopeless at finding the customers, they speak no english at all either.

They send e-mails daily and there is no way to get them to stop. No way to unsubscribe and no way to get them to delete your information, Customer service only read and write spanish and can’t be bothered to even use google translate, even though their website is in several languages when you sign up.
