Wish I'd checked here first!

I have the same experience everyone else has had. Ordered a garment, it arrived and wasn't cotton as advertised but labeled polyester. After many emails, where I refused to pay to ship to China for the return, as the policy stated that faulty or incorrect items would have a shipping label provided and they said that's not their policy despite me providing them a screen shot of said policy. Emailing them was like talking to a wall – its either an AI bot or an obstinate refusal to engage with reading comprehension.

At that point I had checked here and seen that the returns were not worth it, so I persisted in emailing as I wan't going to pay more money to ship the item to China, which is when they were like – oh its been more than 30 days. It was like screaming into the void.

I think everyone who's had a poor experience should report them to the trading commission, which I have done. I don't expect to recoup any funds but I hope they are investigated.

Do not even deserve a 1, unable to give 0! Total scam! The shorts ordered were awful!! Nothing like the picture, the colour the shape the material all completely different. Asked to return, they said at own cost, another £22.70, they have now said that they have not received within 30 days, although returned within 2 days of receipt!! Don’t reply to emails, how are these people still allowed to trade??? Surely trading standards should be involved due to items being 1. Not what was advertised 2. Not actually fit for purpose 3. Do not have any kind of customer services. My husband is now over £80 out of pocket with nothing to show for it, disgusting!!!

Fraudulent operation. We paid a lot of money for two linen jackets that looked nice in the photos . What was sent were two cheap jackets straight from a dodgy factory in China - they didn’t even have proper labels. They were awful. The returns process was impossible and by castello want you to return to a foreign address and pay postage yourself and have it tracked and signed for - so expensive. I accepted a partial refund without returning the items of a tiny amount but then decided I would try returning them- they wouldn’t let me. I have reported them to cyber fraud UK as this is clearly a scam.

As everyone has pointed out this is a scam. But I was able to get a Mastercard charge back and get my money refunded - Mastercard debit card too, not credit card. Just had to provide my bank with pics showing the sizes were wildly different from the size chart on their site. Worth doing. Fork those guys

Absolutely terrible company, inferior quality of clothing, nothing like the images shown on the website. Customer service is a complete sham, they do not accept returns,even though the website indicates returns are accepted, the do not refund due to incorrect sizing, or due to the deceptive images on the site. warning do not purchase from By Castello they are a dropshipping firm and will send you cheap garments from a sweat factory

Item received was nothing like the item on the website. They asked me to return to China at £20 cost. I’ve paid tracking and it’s been at customs for the past 6 weeks.

SCAM WEBSITE! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!

I ordered a jacket from them....and surprise:never received. They are fraud.

I wish I read the reviews before ordering. Truly terrible clothing. The clothing is the most budget material. This company is a complete scam. Absolutely terrible.

Can't believe I didn't check TrustPilot first. Had exactly the experience of everyone else. Clothes arrived nothing like what was advertised. Asked to refund, sent back, sat in customs in China for 6 weeks, saying they needed to contact recipient, then came back and said its beyond 30 days and they will not refund it.

Avoid ever buying from these scammers!!! Just the worst experience ever. The two linen shirts were worthless as horrible fabric not linen and there is no way one would get any money back. I’ve just been scammed out of £100 thereabouts! Why is this company able to carry on selling?

If I could 0 stars I would! I ordered a pair of trousers, they arrived and they were sooooo awful. Nothing like the picture and the worst plastic nylon material. All of this was made worse, by the awful customer service. I then paid £19.30 to return the trousers. I’m still waiting on my refund.

I can’t express enough that this brand needs to be closed down.

Do not use!!! Only giving a 1 as I can't give zero. Purchased a shirt in my normal size but it's too small. To date it's taken 2 weeks for them to confirm how to return/exchange the item (replies seem to be AI generated). Latest email is offering a 5% discount to keep the item (not useful when it doesn't fit). They are now saying that I need to return to their warehouse at my own cost, but have not confirmed the address. I think this is a deliberate delaying tactic so that they can then argue that the return is outside of their 30 day window. Avoid this company at all costs.

If I could give a negative score I would. Con artists. Theives

Someone needs to ban this website. Absolute scam

DONT BUY - make you return to China even though its against consumer rights because the item is NOTHING like the picture. I ordered a denim cotton shirt and the shirt that turned up is so synthetic and shiny and doesnt match the description or picture at all! i keep emailing them stating my rights and they dont acknowledge it and keep saying i have to return. I will make a claim on my credit card soon if they dont send me a paid postage label or give me a refund. The item will be going to the charity shop!

Bad quality. Couldn't return as its at your own cost and sent back to China.
