They shouldn’t have charge the 10% gst to Singapore that below the value of $400 Singapore dollars cause if is less than $400 we should not pay the gst in our country for oversea purchase

⭐ 1/5 The worst buying experience I…
⭐ 1/5 The worst buying experience I have ever had.
The shipping and consolidation process is extremely confusing and feels designed to make customers pay more. I selected five items together, so naturally I assumed they would be shipped together. Instead, Buyee sent only one item and then demanded separate shipping payments for the others.
Apparently, selecting multiple items is not enough. You must also notice and click a small “Consolidate” button that appears on the left side of the page. The system does not clearly explain that without clicking this additional button, your selected items will still be treated as separate packages.
I would not use Buyee again and cannot recommend it.
Fast buying service which helps me win…
Fast buying service which helps me win items I want. Sniper bids for JD Auctions are great too. I've used a couple of buying services in Japan and this is the best!
I use this site only for browsing
Most of items are not available for bidding (junk). But on all other sites bidding and buying is possible. Buyee does not need customers.
No shipping within Japan
No shipping within Japan, no pick up option, why I as customer cannot pick up my products stocked in their warehouse
This site is full of scammers and when…
This site is full of scammers and when you get scam they do absolutely nothing about it as if their siding with the sellers. Stay away. I bought from only high feedback with 13k reviews called funassyi (the popular mascot) and he completely pulled a bait and switch on all 4 of my items.
Buyee services in Japan
Buyee makes bidding for and purchasing auction items in Japan from overseas a seamless experience. Their instructions are clear and services, including postal and payment options, are versatile. I would highly recommend the company to others.
frusturated
I buy off of proxies all the time, and I've never really had any issues with any of them- including for a long time even with buyee. For the first few years my main issue was how long it took them to order stuff because by the time they would order the stuff was sold out. Not their fault, just still kinda sucked. That being said, my latest experience left me kinda lost for words. They included so much unnecessary packing materials into my box the price went from $50 for TWO packages TOTALLL to now $150 when I consolidated. Lots of regret, I was stunned and immediately reached out asking if I can undo consolidation (legit less than 2 hours after being notified about it being packed) or have them remove the packing material to bring the price down. They said no to undo the consolidation, because they were afraid of losing packing material/items... which is silly because this is the reason I'm using a proxy??? Isn't packaging you guys' whole schtick? But, whatever. My fault for thinking a service whos first sentence is "helps reduce price!" actually reduces the price. As for the packaging, they said they *could* remove some of it but I would have to "waive my right to claim package insurance if my package goes MISSING"...... I'm baffled. So im just over it. My choices are go back in time, pay $150, throw away my items, OR trust customs not to throw away my uninsured package. So, I just decide to pay the $150. Because my options are limited and im just tired and want my shit. I pay the $150 it costs to send the big ass box full of bubble wrap and then am stopped because - o m g - they cant even process the order. What am I even doing here? genuinely? I don't want to be a karen, I hate being stern, but I have been crying over all the money and time wasted by them, I am so upset about all of this. Honestly, like I said I have never had this happen from literally any other company. I've had credit card info/ passwords stolen by proxies before and that impacted me less than this. I just hope I can save someone the same hassle that ive been through-
use a different proxy if you can.
Smooth Transition
I had a pleasant experience buying rare ink from Buyee Japan. The signup was effortless! I'm excited to discover more rare items
You need to make clear what happens…
You need to make clear what happens when you click the buy now button and you have a coupon. Under the button uou could say, you can review and apply coupons on the next page.I found it very confusing. I asked your customer service but did not get the right answer to my question. I like the site though
So far so great!
So far I have purchased 3 big cd lots using Buyee of about 150-200 cds per lot. I used the protective packaging option and they were all very well packed, they came double boxed and have a lot of protective bubble cushions and kept centered away from the corners and fastened to the center, and the outer box they used was very sturdy and thick, you get what you pay for with the protective packaging option. They used boxes either of 58 × 45 × 30cm size or 58 × 45 × 38cm size. As the cd lots had a weight that was about twice that of the dimensional weight, the shipping cost only went up $7-$10 vs what it was before I used the protective packaging option. If you have fragile items you should definitely use that option, as I heard they ship in the original sellers packaging if you don't, and original Japanese sellers packaging is often weak. Although, for certain items, this could make it a lot more expensive, so it might not be good to use it in some cases, depending on what you are buying you might not need it.
Another upside of Buyee is that their shipping costs are the cheapest of the proxies, their ECMS rates are about 25% cheaper than others and the Buyee air rates are good too, I guess they get a nice volume discount, in fact the ECMS rates aren't even that much more than surface mail (which isn't currently available to the US anyway, about 30 percent)
Another positive is that they often have coupons with great discounts usually 10 to even 20 percent off coupons, this makes them the cheapest proxy to use for most things.
One downside is that you have to pay tariffs to the US even for items that should be exempt, like cds, records, books, etc. Most of the items I buy are cheap and the shipping is higher than the items themselves so its not a big deal for me most of the time, and you can usually use a coupon to negate it, I am deducting 1 star for this.
While some people mention Buyee has higher fees than other proxies, this isn't really true. Other proxies usually charge a Paypal payment fee, Buyee just bundles that fee into the conversion rate, so its not actually higher than most other proxies who also charge for the Paypal fees, unless you find a proxy that doesn't charge Paypal fees at all.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend Buyee for the things I buy, although in same cases it might be better to use other proxies depending on your needs (like if you are buying a bunch of small items with separate orders some other proxies could be cheaper), but for the most part Buyee seems like one of the best proxies to use, especially for the type of items I buy.
I have enjoyed Buyee for many years
I have enjoyed Buyee for many years. Always a pleasure. Thank you!!!
while out of their control
while out of their control, the new CPSC law severerly limits what i can buy. i cant tell if im going to use buyee for anything in the future. However, shipping is reliable and fast, and what i have ordered has always gotten here on time.
Positive experience
I bought a vinyl from a japan only website. It was purchased by buyee and shipped to me ahead of schedule and everything arrived in perfect condition
Poor Customer Service
Ordered trading cards which had been packed extremely poorly. Paid 500yen for service and another 500yen for standard plan (insured delivery and inspection). The delivered cards were scattered loosely throughout the box instead of being properly secured. As a result of this, two cards arrived with damaged edges.
Buyee customer service gave excuses to add in protective packing in future. I have a few complaints before and they always gave standard motherhood responses, so as not to refund the money.

Made difficult to obtain items offered…
Made difficult to obtain items offered only in Japan (especially rare and hard to find discontinued items) easier to order painlessly (e.g. technical glitch, communication barrier, etc) via arrangement with Buyee rather than direct with seller such as Yahoo Auctions and Mercari Japan
Avoid!
Avoid! This Company is non-trustworthy. Placed an order and they made the purchase. Customer care advised 14 days initially before item dispatched for drlivery, this has dragged on now for 6 weeks and the latest information is a December 2026 delivery, which is 6 months after order/purchase! No option of refund or any recourse. Very unfair and unnecessary delay. Cancellation and full Refund should have been offered.

good experience
Many of options
Easy to use, you will get various of results from the item you searched. Many coupons for you to use.
An unreasonable service with an irresponsible attitude, pressures users to subscribe to paid services
During the packaging process, they remove the protective wrapping from the camera lens, place it in a paper bag, and damage the lens—all while charging a handling fee of 500 yen.
This is an unreasonable service that promotes and forces customers to use a paid service, shifts blame with an irresponsible attitude, and fails to provide proper warranty coverage.
