I bought an electric bicycle from this store and the bike arrived defective and the package was damaged, the bike was also stuck for a week, so the delivery was delayed.. luckily I bought through Klarna when there was no answer, so I got a break in the payments and the surprise started happening. well, in the complaint, they promised to repair the pen, the color of which does not match the color of the frame, and the spare parts were wrong.. well, about 1 month later, I went to a bike shop in my home country where the same thing was said about the spare parts, and then I bought a suitable part from there, now I'm waiting for an answer again, will I get a price reduction or was the vausation good for the rest of life. the bike is a Vakole c26, which is otherwise good to ride because I have tested a similar one from my friend, but you can also get that bike from other sales places, e.g. Vakole.com, I bought it here because of Klarna's purchase security.
Having bought another of the same bike, I can say that it is good for someone who is 185cm and 110kg and with range 2 assistance unlimited it is about 60km, assistance 3 about 35/kmh but it eats up the battery quickly. The battery charges in about 6h. When buying a bike, it is good to note that you know how to do basic maintenance because for example the brakes may require adjustment and something may be broken as happened to me with the first one and the repair videos are there. I also had to ask the bike shop about the suitability of the part sent because it was wrong but I got my money back from the seller. Now the customer service was let down and I got a free product afterwards but there was an adjustment when the package was damaged and the bike was scratched, they offered a paint pen but I refused and sent UPS for inspection and the bike was sent back and a new one was replaced.. the rear spring requires tightening/monitoring, the bolts loosen and the brake pads are difficult to get. The wiring at the front should be protected from bends..

The bike is great, will buy another for next spring or summer.

I can honestly say that the whole process of buying a bike from this company has been excellent. From the purchase to the delivery with live tracking i was able to follow the process with ease and recieved the bike on the date that was predicted when I purchased. Excellent.

It’s funny that I get this mail. My shipment is damaged in the post depot. The money is already booked from my bank account and nobody is intrested that I get my ordered bike.
I gave you already time of 7 days to solve the problem. There are 3 days left and then I will cancel the order and book my money back. Unbelievable how bad a customer service could work!

Ordering was easy and the product I purchased was shipped fast. Also there was a sale and I could still use a sale code to further reduce the price of the product I purchased so that is an added bonus that not everyone is giving to buyers.

I ordered the bike Engwe L20 SE 250W 20" Foldable with the idea to make a long (10 days) bike trip. After 1000 kms here is my summary:
- The bike keeps its promise and has many nice and very useful options (such as the back light which is activated when you brake, the possibility to activate the engine with the right hand when you stand next to bike and have to climb a difficult obstacle).
- The max kms I have been doing with the battery is 125 kms BUT to reach this, you need to stay mostly with a level 2 assistance (15 kms/hour), really help the bike in steep slope (and if very steep use level assistance 1 and go slowly). As usually with this kind of bike, you usually have a "braking effect" when the engine needs to restart after for example a descent. I never used the battery till the very end but I have the feeling that the last LED does not last as much as the others. Thus if like me you do a long trip (over 100 kms a day), make a pause and load the battery for an hour or two for security. Now of course all conditions apply: weight of the person, bags, slope, wind and level of assistance. But all in all this is an OK battery.
- The brakes are fine although some adjustments might be needed (you might hear a number of noises if the cable is not releasing correctly).
- The tires are nylon. In my opinion not too adapted to dirt roads. The tires are "sliding" on rocks. If you plan yo use the bike like a VTT I would advise to change with rubber after a while.
- Check very regularly that all screws are tight! Especially the one of the handlebar. I was on a dirt road with rocks and all of sudden the handlebar "collapsed" and I fell heavily. This can be very dangerous and this is not mentioned in the user manual (which is really sticking to the essential I may say).
- That might be personal but I had the feeling that the seating was slightly leaning forward instead of being 100% flat and I have been unable to unscrew (those nuts seem to be of a lower quality and get easily rubbed).
- I had two big bags at the back and one on the front and this was very handy!
- I had to fold the bike as I came back by train: The folding is easy but if you have installed the front basket you may not be able to fold it completely. It would have been nice also to have foldable pedals (currently you need to unscrew them) - fortunately all tools have been provided. I was told by the train controller that the bike "should be in a bag" which is not proposed. Maybe something to think about for the future. Otherwise be aware that the bike is heavy and not everybody is capable to lift 30 kgs or so.

Thus altogether a very good price/quality bargain that I am happy to recommend. and which I hope to be able to use for a long time. Very good response from the support. Delivery was delayed of one day without noticing me (so waited all day at home..) but the delivery took place within the promised time range.

Let's see how this will live over time.

Warning for anyone interested in buying a bike, like an Engwe model, Do not buy anything from this company if you want to be messed about, not taken seriously, dismissed or ignored, concerning any problems you might have with any bikes they sell to you. My husband bought an electric bike from this company and the bike's battery had not worked for over two weeks, we swapped the battery to the same bike, lucky bought from somewhere else, but same model and brand, and there was no issues, once we swapped the battery over. So we concluded the battery is faulty. Since this time they have failed to listen to us and fix the problem. He has wrote several emails to this company, with each reply being more absurd and ridiculous, For example they instructed him to buy a battery testing device to test if the battery is faulty, we know it is faulty, next they suggested he take the bike out and ride it up a hill? to enable the electric element kick it or sort themselves out mysteriously. They then accused him of not charging the battery properly, and continued to avoid all of our consumer and warranty rights, when we have asked for a new battery or a new bike to replace the one that is not working since the day it was delivered over two weeks ago!!
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT AII COST.

Shipment was very fast, 7 days from payment to delivery (Poland -> Finland).
Bike was well packed, no scratches or defects.
One star drop because in all illustrations the bike has a throttle handle but there was none in the actual bike. There is a connector in wiring loom however.

I have a very bad experience with my purchase. The bycicle is very big and weight a lot, which difficult it management in my day to day. I tried to change it for a small one, and due that I discarted the original pacaging theyrefuse this change.
The after selling customer services is really sad.
I do not recommend this company.

Don't buy, a refund is an impossibility, Chinese rubbish. Reply to BBG reply. This is a standard web bot reply. I asked for a refund with the 14 days allowed and all I got from BBG was the run around. Stay away from BBG.

Im very happy with the product i received.

I used this bike 2 times for exactly 41km,
The next morning after a full charge impossible to start the bike, the screen remains black. Since the 8 of August
I am exchanging by mail with BuyBestGearUK support team and they keep asking for photos or videos but offered no help.
