Buster + Punch is a London-born solid metal design label, founded in 2012 in a garage in East London by Massimo Minale. It started with a simple frustration - the door handles, switches and light fittings on the market at the time were dull, disposable, and built to be forgotten. Buster + Punch set out to make the opposite: hardware and lighting with weight, presence and attitude, built from real materials rather than plated or moulded substitutes.
Today the brand ships worldwide through four regional stores covering the UK, Europe, the US and Australia. The collection spans cabinet and door hardware, dimmers, switches and sockets, and lighting - from single pendants to full chandeliers - alongside a smaller range of furniture, home accessories and jewellery. Every piece is designed in-house and finished in solid brass, steel or smoked bronze, chosen because these materials age with a home rather than degrade against it.
The design language draws on London's fashion, music and subculture scenes as much as it does on traditional hardware manufacturing, and Buster + Punch regularly collaborates with street artists, bike builders and musicians on limited pieces. Looks nice, complete junk.
Aesthetically the stuff is pretty nice. The actual electrical hardware is complete junk. LED dimmer switches have massive delay or don't turn on at all. Three-way toggle rarely works. These were verified as wired correctly, correct bulbs and non-defective units. Substandard electrical components wrapped in a pretty package.

We do want to clarify that our products are designed to work with compatible lighting systems, and we have not identified a general issue with the electrical hardware when it is used with the appropriate compatible lighting and setup. That said, we take reports like this seriously and would always want to investigate any individual case where a product isn’t performing as expected. The delay you experience with our dimmers is normal/expected up to 1-2 seconds, which is due to a soft start feature designed to protect lights on the circuit.
We haven’t received an email or support request from you regarding these issues, so we haven’t had the opportunity to look at your particular installation or troubleshoot the setup with you. Compatibility can depend on the specific bulbs, lighting system and configuration being used, even when the wiring itself is correct. We’d genuinely welcome the opportunity to look into this with you.
We’re proud of the quality of our products, so while we’re disappointed by your experience, we’d much rather have the opportunity to understand what has happened and help put it right.

BAD MODULE - ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSE
This module was bad and I wrote to the company and received an auto-reply that a support case was opened on August 14, over two weeks ago. As of August 31, there had been no reply, so I wrote to follow up. Now over 24 hours later, still no reply.

I generally love the Buster and Punch…
I generally love the Buster and Punch items, great styling and quality. Have been disappointed in the set up of my trade account not working properly and I seem to have been forgotten about. Ordered some soap bottle holders only to discover once installed that virtually every bottle I’ve ordered doesn’t fit in them as the hole is too large so they’re pretty useless at the moment. Also the amount of packaging and size of the box I received for these small items was pretty ridiculous and has filled half of my recycle bin!

Switch broke after only 3 years of usage in a guest bedroom that is seldomly used. Was offered 10% off to purchase a replacement because outside of the 2 years warranty … you can get 10% off for signing up for emails! Think twice before installing these !
