I found Bushcraft Parties via Google whilst looking for an outdoor party for January for my son and his best friend's joint 7th birthday. I'd never heard of them prior but it sounded great so I decided to go with them because of the great reviews. And I'm so glad I did. I didn't know what to expect but they exceeded my expectations. From the friendly and swift communication with Lauren, who provided me with all the details and answered my numerous questions, to the fantastic instructors Joetta and Donna, who were just brilliant. They called a day before to check all was okay and to arrange the meetup. On the day, they arrived promptly with a positive attitude and good spirits. It was very cold but they immediately took control of 35 excited 4-7 year olds and kept them active, engaged and warm. The activities were exciting and varied. There were breaks inbetween as well, in which the kids could have a snack and drinks plus a larger break for lunch. They had great control of the kids and were also kind and patient with them. The kids and adults just had such a great time and thought it was one of the best parties they'd been to. Being outdoors in nature had a positive effect on all.
I wholeheartedly recommend Bushcraft Parties as they delivered what they promised on the website.

Bushcraft parties provided a unique, magical experience for our party. My 9 year old son loved it, as did all of his friends. Parents were all delighted to be outside for a party, and it was fantastic to see the children connecting with nature. They made bows and arrows, which were extremely effective and not just for show, they're not dangerous of course, but they fly so well and provided so much entertainment. Our instructor, Nanou was excellent, professional, knowledgeable, kind, friendly and above all, she'd kept the attention of every child for the entirety. Very good value for money, as the children really do learn during the party, it's not just mucking about, and they have so much fun during the process. The structure of the party was faultless. Cannot recommend more highly. Five stars! We risked booking a party in January, armed with flasks of tea and hot water bottles, and the children wrapped up warmly. The cold didn't bother anyone, as they had so much fun and we'd definitely say don't think this is only for the summer months, go for it!

My son and his friends thoroughly enjoyed his 7th birthday party - building shelters, toasting marshmallows and making awesome bow and arrows! Thank you to Mo who is a fantastic instructor and had great control over 25 children (mostly boys!!).

This was our second Bushcraft party and we loved it. Kids are so entertained, the activities are perfectly suited, and Joe was a super instructor for our 8 year old boy and his friends. Highly recommend!!

Bushcraft parties recently ran a party for my daughter's 11th birthday and it was fantastic! Peter was very enthusiastic and fun and the kids loved all the activities, from den building to bow and arrow making to fire-starting; they were all glowing. We had some really lovely comments from parents afterwards about how much all the kids enjoyed it. It felt so brilliant to be celebrating outdoors among the trees, really refreshing. Would highly recommend for an unusual and fun party, regardless of the time of year.

Definitely the best children’s party… ever! Our instructor was amazing and the children enjoyed building dens, making bows and arrows, roasting marshmallows and a competitive tug of war.

This was the feedback from a fellow parent! To put into context, this was the first party of year 2, so approximately party number 65 since reception started.

What a fantastic Birthday the team put on for my 5 year old son. They had their work cut out with around 35 kids ages 5-7 and wow did they give the kids the best day. We were able to do this in woods at the back of our house which made it even better. Amongst all the other games every kid went home with their own personally made now and arrow which worked fantastically and they each roasted marshmallow’s on the fire. Every kid had a great time and also came away with new skills. Highly recommend!

My son had a wonderful 6th birthday party and his friends all had a wonderful time. Joetta was amazing and managed to keep everything on track (28 children!).

Fantastic party delivered by Bushcraft for my 8 year old daughter and 15 friends on Wimbledon Common. The instructor was brilliant, fun, but always in control, and an action packed 2 hour party that I would highly recommend for curious/outdoor-type little minds.

We had a party for a 7 year old at Newlands Corner in Guildford, the kids loved it especially making their own bow and arrow. Would definitely recommend.

The party was great! The kids loved it. They were entertained for 2 hours and time seemed to go really quickly. We didn't even have time for party food and cake in the alloted time but that was fine and we just carried on after! Shy was great with the kids and kept them in check, which is not easy with 7 year olds!

We held it in the small woods in Queens Park NW6 where there was already a den built by the park rangers so that was handy. People walked past and smiled to see the kids doing something interesting and fun! One lady stopped and asked for the party details for her son :)

It was a great party and the bow and arrows are still being used around our house! A nice touch for kids to take something away with them.

The whole team were professional throughout. The kids (20 5-year old boys!!!) loved the whole party. Their favourite bit was making bows and arrows and eating marshmallows. I would absolutely recommend Bushcraft parties in the future.

Alexei was amazing from start to finish. We took 18 children (3-4 year olds) to the Heath Extension. The activities that Alexei had organised had them fully engaged. The children loved the forest school experience and I have already booked the same again for next year.

Our daughter (8) and her friends had an excellent time at their bushcraft birthday party with Nanou. Despite the rain up until the party start and the muddy ground, the girls loved running around in the woods, making shelters, making bow and arrows and toasting marshmallows. Thank you!

Absolutely incredible. The kids enjoyed it so much as did the parents. Really professional, looked after the kids (6 year olds but also younger siblings), kept them in check, taught them and they had a huge amount of fun in the process - so glad we chose Bushcraft parties. Highly highly recommended.
