This school is the worst school ever. I wish those fire drills are real
Communication seems to be a huge issue. Other than that I have no major complaints. It is not that there is not enough information. The information is not timely. Parents are notified of things the night and by night I literally mean night (after 7 pm). I also have e-mailed teachers and still have not received a response. For parents that work during school hours responding to e-mail should be imperative.
My daughter been coming to school here since kindergarten she has done really well I think also been really fair. She enjoys the school very well. on her 4th yr here.
I am not convinced and can present support via research that cluster or stratified classrooms based on student academic performance benefits all students. Students who do poorly on standardized test tend to be placed in classrooms where there are more behavior and classroom management issues. This detracts from instruction time and prevents deep learning from occurring for all students. Increased off task and disruptive behavior presents as the norm which may discourage students who are truly ready to learn but do not receive the support needed due to the chaotic environment. It is my hope that this practice can be revisited and supported by research and that the work that is being done by Karin Chenoweth be explored.
Hallways before and after school are crazy! Not enough bathroom breaks for young children.
