Order not received, no replies to emails requesting update. 18 days since order and nothing received. Tracking number not tracking. Emailed x2 but no response on either ocassion. Tried live chat on website but no response after 30mins. Will try to get refund through credit card company but would not recommend, very poor experience all round.

The shop didn’t provide any exact measurements of its garments. I have ordered a shirt and a leather care cream, and the main item turned to be way to big and long for it’s tags. I have returned that shirt within a few days. I received only one email from the shop on 27/02/25 and the shop received the parcel back on 26/02/25. But no response on any of my emails after that regarding the refund status or at least they could have sent something if they think something wrong with the returned shirt. I have bought from many different independent British clothing stores and this is the first time I’m encountered such a disappointment in terms of customer support.

Avoid.

Purchased £110 shoes as a gift, they arrived as if they had been used as a football for the past year. Box was beyond unacceptable as a gift.

Returned promptly, refunded promptly in fairness but still left it short by £7.98 (£3.99 delivery & £3.99 return charge) despite the return being due to the terrible condition they were received in.

Best avoided, in case you possibly need to return.

Can't think of a time where I've had better service and overall customer care than when shopping at Burrows and Hare, Marcus went above what you would expect to receive from a retailers customer support on a few occasions and helped me in getting what I needed. In store at Marlow was equally as helpful. Will definitely be returning to shop, great brands accompanied by a great team.

Ordered some Veja shoes online. Not only were they a great price (they were in the sale) but when I realised I had ordered the wrong size, I was able to arrange a return right away - Royal Mail even collected it the next day. Daisy was very helpful in making sure I ordered the correct size. Nothing was too much trouble. Will shop here again!

I live in an area where there are very limited shops, so unfortunately I have to depend quite heavily on online shopping.
The majority of my experiences are good, and as far as processing the order and delivery - so were Burrows and Hare, however, please be aware that Burrows and Hare only offer free shipping on orders over £150.00 and they will charge you delivery and an administration fee of £3.99 if you return your item.
I was down £7.98 - very nearly £8.00 at the end of my transactions with Burrows and Hare - and for that reason I would not shop with them again.

On a short visit to Marlow I was met and helped by two very knowledgeable, helpful, courteous and, above all, interested members of staff. They went to not inconsiderable lengths to arrange delivery of a pair of shoes from their Oxford store in time before I had to leave Marlow. The whole experience is the perfect exemplar of independent retailing. Faultless.

i give you five.Every thing was great all products were what i wanted did not want to use amazon this time. The small bags were a great touch thank you will use again

It’s sad to say that I have email or sent message through IG few times totally but no one reply … I like the clothes but the service of online is so disappointed ….

Absolutely useless I d get a better response talking to a three year old , I ve ended up with a cheap brown polish and a cheap black polish , both completely wrong are these lot total morons ?

The hip flasks shot glass doesn't come out of the flask unless you prize it out with a knife so it's useless.
