Friendly helpful staff despite difficult sale

Ben and all the staff were amazing in helping me with my move. They kept me updated and were very reassuring as I was very stressed out about the move. Would highly recommend Burgess.

Liam and Ben worked tirelessly to sell our 2-bed flat in St Kilts. The market was difficult and we lost a couple of buyers before they secured a buyer that could proceed. They helped us with questions and gave us links to local tradesmen who fixed minor issues to keep the sale on track. We would recommend their services.

The selling market in our price range has been somewhat depressed in the past eighteen months however from first instruction to completion Ben Davey and the team at Burgess & Co consistantly provided good advice based on what proved to be an accurate valuation. Burgess Review

We originally approached Burgess as they had a property on their books in which we were interested. They were very attentive to our requirements, ensuring they provided us with information on properties suitable for our needs, as opposed to other agents who simply threw everything at us without any thought. We then placed our own property on the market with them, after having looked at a number of other Estate Agents who were somewhat perfunctory in their dealings with us. Burgess took the time to guide us through the selling process sensitively and pragmatically, bearing in mind the current property market and the sale went through to everyone’s satisfaction. Our purchase was also handled by Burgess, who were extremely attentive to every aspect of our purchase, even assisting in completing the relevant forms to ensure they were correct, which is a service they appear to be happy to offer to their customers in order to ensure purchasing sales are processed sufficiently and quickly. They liaised with our Solicitors, keeping us informed at all times to ensure we were fully up to speed with how the sale and purchase were proceeding.

All of the staff were extremely professional and courteous at all times whenever we called the office or during viewings, both during the sale of our property and properties we looked at on their books. We are very content that they went the extra mile to fully earn their commission, and were proactive at all times in progressing both the sale of our house and our purchase. It was a pleasure dealing with Burgess, and their support was invaluable in reducing some of the stress in what is a very stressful process.
