Was really looking forward to a decent burger, I thought with this being a burger specialist they may just be on par with the burger company but no far from it no finesse to the burger and only as big as my little finger, the cheesey chips were awful and hard the onion rings were the best bit but not the best and clearly frozen. What happened to proper freshly made food. Would have enjoyed bk more. Didn’t even eat it all

Would not serve that burger to my dog! A weird Grey patty, covered in Mayo and ketchup and nothing else..
I tried to call, but all their phones are closed.. they nearly ruined my evening..Go to Jagger or Gasolin if you want a decent Burger..

Have been to a couple of different Burger Shacks in Aarhus. Not once has it let me down. All burgers are nice, juicy, well assembled and the fries are the best in town. Makes me sad to see so many negative reviews, when every experience I had with Burger Shack was pleasant. Keep doing what you do!!

Lovely meal, fresh and tasty

Worse experience than other fast food restaurants, wierd burger patties than doesn't even feel like real meat. I used to like burger shack over other fast food chains. But when i ate there last week and a month ago, the service and food had fallen off a cliff. Compared to my pre covid experience with burger shack.

I had the Shack Chicken Burger menu to go. The fries have been delicious but the burger was really bad. between 2 buns there was a chicken "nugget" size portion, it was dry and there was only one slice pickle no dressing no salad...the burger itself was a joke.
Seriously who is doing that to a costumer?

I got my beyond burger , the cheese wasnt melted and whole burger was very dry, also my fries very extremly salty and there wasnt parmesan on it like always. I had burger from you many times but now the experience was very bad....

After probably one of the worst shitstorms in recent Danish history based on the lies, deceits and life threatening lack of proper food handling and hygiene, I assumed that they would be on their toes not to do anything that might be considered poor behavior, so this afternoon I took my chance and thought i would see if they had gotten their act together.

At around 2pm I visited the shop in Carlsbergbyen.
Outside are tables covered with mottos like "Organic" & "Sustainability" and looking online after being greeted by this proven nonsense, they still have the nerve to state that "All our produce are sourced from places that have these values at the top of their agenda".

Inside the shop things look pretty normal, although any mention of wagyu has been removed, as this also turned out to be nothing more than another empty marketing stunt. The only remnants of the huge misleading/lying signs, is the glue that they haven't had time to remove yet.

As for the food itself.
I ordered my burger and quietly stood by a few meters away and looked at the work to see if everything was being handled correctly after the aforementioned issues. Suddenly the employee handling the fries takes all the fries that have been portioned before I entered the shop about 7 minutes prior and pours them back into the basin and mixes them with a fresh batch of fries. When I received my food, including a portion of the cold and hot fries a minute later, I asked the employee what she was doing and if this was normal procedure or if she was just trying to disguise the cold fries. She informed me(lied) that they had only been standing there for 30 seconds, so she just wanted to ensure that the customers all had fresh fries!?
My entire meal was an interesting affair with two employees staring at me most of the time, as if they had been caught with the hand in the cookie jar, hoping I wouldn't tell on them.

Honestly, I don't in any way understand why a company that have been caught red handed lying and cheating with all of the press and customers forensically looking at their behavior are still adamant about continuing these horrid practices.

My advice to all customers. Stay away until these people have understood the meaning of honesty and proper behavior.

My advice to Burger Shack. Your burgers are good and well-priced, drop the rest of the nonsense and own up to it, we all know you clearly don't care, so stop acting as if you're saving the planet...

At the restaurant i Aalborg, er were served crunchy DRY buns and ruined chicken, and when I contacted the staff they were arrogant and condescending.

Extremely bad service, and low quality food.

I once had a very good impression of Burger Shack. The first one I tried was in Horsens Graven where the chef was a middle eastern guy. Best burger I ever ate it tasted like it was made at a grill in nature and the fries also tasted good and fresh. Then I tried the one in Kolding were the quality was very subpar and mediocre, the fries were soggy and they were very frugal with the shredded cheese topping.
Then I tried the one in Vejle Norregade where the quality was alright but nothing special. The last one I tried was in Vejle DTC center. Location is nice, restaurant has a nice setting and the food was also pretty much alright at first. Then the corona situation happened and me and my friend ordered burger shack to take away. That last burger shack menu I ate was absolutely disgusting. The fries tasted like some very cheap pre-frozen soggy fries with little cheese on them, the burger was also very oily,overcooked and quite gross with a just a tiny piece of salad thrown in it and an abundance of sauce which made it even more gross, and the bread was dry. NEVER AGAIN eating at this restaurant! things seem to have gone downhill or they just become lazy. Or maybe its a hit or miss between their restaurants.

Awful just awful.
You don’t get what you order. And the food is in no way like it is in the pictures. It’s just false advertising.
The food didn’t even taste good - and when they charge so much you expect to get something that at least tastes decent.
All in all - don’t waste your money on this place.

Besides being the best burger place in Aarhus, their customer service is just great! I just had the best experience when giving them feedback via their Facebook page. Prompt reply even though it was 11 in the evening! Fantastic, I'm simply impressed.
Good job for not doing like so many other places around who ignores their customers. Keep flying high Burger Shack ;)
