I wish I had read the reviews beforehand. I purchased a ceiling fan from Bulb Square that I wanted to return. They have given me the runaround for two months and simply do not seem to grasp the concept that in our market, customers return products for reasons other than malfunction or missing parts. There are plenty of other companies out there that do. Save yourself a headache and avoid this one.

Return of damaged good was fully refunded within days
We ordered three separate items. The first two arrived in great shape and are lovely. The third item, separate order, arrived with a crack. Customer Services was very responsive and provided a full refund (shipping and everything) within days.

No electrical approvals and terrible customer service …
Received lighting within expected shipping time, however my electrician wasn’t able to install as there were no documented approvals on the fixtures or with the fixtures. I have contacted the company twice now over the last 2 weeks without any response or acknowledgment. I asked for Canadian approval documentation or if not approved for Canada, a refund (as they shouldn’t be sold to Canadian customers if not approved). I’ve been completely ghosted, wasting hundreds of dollars.

We got off to a bumpy start in terms of the two outdoor lanterns I ordered as the shipping was delayed. However, their Customer Service Dept was very helpful, stayed in contact with me and the lanterns arrived and look amazing on my patio.

Dearest reader,
I read the poor reviews but went ahead and ordered anyways because I really loved the fixture and was assured by the company that they took customer care and reputation seriously.
Firstly the fixture was missing the correct ceiling installation hardware, so off to wayfair I went to purchase the correct one. Then my electrician was not able to install and he believes the entire fixture is not operational....
So buyer beware, next time I will take heed of the bad reviews.

This company has got to be a scam
This company has got to be a scam. I ordered 2 bedside lamps that were actually on the more expensive side of lamps I was looking at, and when they came they are so cheaply made they can’t even be put together to stand upright. Save yourself the complete waste of money and just buy from a known brand.

They Drop Ship From China & Basically Don't Do Returns
I ordered a $165 light fixture knowing their return policy said they'd accept returns within 60 days but I had to pay for shipping back to them. What they don't tell you is that they drop ship direct from China so returning this thing would cost $87 from USPS. So if I ship it back to them I end up paying $87 for a "full" refund (and that's assuming it actually gets to China safely). Alternatively, they offered a 40% discount if I just kept it but that would still mean I am paying $100 for a light I have no use for. DONT ORDER FROM THEM!

The light I ordered, arrived damaged, and was completely made of cheap plastic and rubber material when the website stated that it was metal and acrylic. I Emailed the website five times, sent pictures showing how it arrived damaged and asked for money back(over 300 cad) and still have not heard anything, not even a generic response email. Do NOT order from this company.

Beautiful leaded glass fixture
Despite frustrating shipping difficulties, that I don't believe were the fault of BulbSquare, the light fixture I ordered was a very pretty, seemingly hand made, leaded glass fixture and I was glad I waited for it to arrive. It is hard to tell online how something will look once you get it, but this fixture was well made. Customer Service answered my questions thru email and dealt with the situation as well as possible.
