Tested it out on a few runs; it's good for easy/recovery runs and long runs, but not suitable for tempo runs, interval training or a race event. Better stick with a running armband then, as this running rig is heavier and will bounce on and off your body, as the bands are quite elastic, not tight. Overall, good for specific purposes; the only downside is the price - it's way too expensive.

As a runner, this product has one big issue, which makes it difficult to use without adding some additional retaining clips. This is a one size product, so as a person of average build, I adjusted the side straps so it fitted snugly. The problem is that the adjusting clips very quickly loosen (within a few minutes), so the rig moves around as you run. I added a couple of plastic clips on each side (see photos) which stops the straps moving. I am pretty sure the company is aware of the issue, as others ill have had the same problem, and will at some point redesign it. If you exclude this issue, this rig is very high quality and made very well. I have an 6.7inch iPhone and that fits nicely in the from pouch - I found other rigs did not cater for the bigger phones. It also looks really good, and I am glad with a bit of thought that I was able to fix the problem without having to look elsewhere. My ratings are a bit all over the place, but I am trying to reflect the problem I had. Built for Athletes were great in supporting me, and their customer service is excellent. Be happy to remove this review once they have fixed the issue.

I was a bit sceptical about this running rig because it looked so different from running vests that I’ve seen. There’s a reason for that: it’s better! I love it so much; it’s comfortable, excellent quality as you’d expect, and it’s gorgeous! The adjustable straps ensure it doesn’t bounce around and the pocket is big enough for keys and a phone. The detachable pouch adds so much storage and fits my soft flask. I don’t run without it

Very good product! I have a suggestion for a future version: it would be great if the metallic parts were removable, so they could be machine-washed without causing damage to those parts or to the product itself.

I absolutely love this rig it’s exactly what you’d want out of a running rig it’s so comfortably and has more than enough storage for phone/keys and even my lightweight jacket. Like all their bits it’s built to last id highly recommend this to anyone thanks BFA definitely impressed with this
