We received a delivery of 18 bags of sand and cement. The driver dropped the pallet at the front door. My wife asked if the pallet could be moved to the back gate, the answer was no because when the driver rang her phone she couldn't answer it, so for some reason because of this the driver was justified in his chosen actions. Im on crutches, so my wife had to move 18 individual 25kg bags a distance of 100 feet because the driver refused to move them. I can guarantee that for this reason we shall never use buildland. It is a shame that people with this lazy 'no' attitude consider themselves employable and and asset to their employers. Being from an era where people were always willing to help and when real men certainly would not let a lady struggle with 450kg of building materials, especially when that person has a mechanical lifting aid to do the job for them, im very disappointed. On top of all of that my wife while moving nearly half a tonne of materials has injured her back. Thanks 👍

From start to finish the help I got from buildland wax superb I am not local to there depots but that did not stop their helpfulness they sourced my whole order and arranged delivery and yhe price was very much more favorable than any of my local suppliers I would definitely use them again without even thinking about it thanks to all

Easy to order online for collection same day. Easy to collect. Minor criticism would be the sullen nature of the staff member who served me at the till point on collection. A smile costs nothing.

Advise given by phone before I placed the order was friendly and good.
Requests made by me for information and availability when the order was placed were were accurately answered. Collection smooth, with assistance to load the order freely given.

The website was easy to use, i ordered what I needed and their email communication was good informing me of price and delivery. when my order was delivered the items were well packaged and protected.

The whole transaction was simple and painless. My needs were modest, 2 bulk bags of bark and 2 of gravel. Ordering was simple online and very quick. When it was delivered, the driver was brilliant! He used the crane on the lorry to put the bags exactly where I wanted them. No fuss, no complaining and a nice smile. A pleasure to do business with them.

Ordered 20mm paving slabs off website. Staff phoned to arrange delivery, even bothered to locate us on Google Maps and enquire about the road conditions. Delivery was stated to be "First Thing" but arrived at 11.00 am. On later inspection slabs turned out to be 25-30mm so were useless for my purposes. Contacted Buildland and asked for return due to mis-description on website. Staff member said he would email me the details of pick-up and refund. Driver turned up next day to pick up slabs without any further communication. Lucky we were in. Had to phone Buildland a couple of days later to find out what was happening about the refund. Was told that it would only be a partial refund of the cost of the slabs, no refund of the delivery cost. I asked to talk to a manager and explained that the website was wrong. He agreed a total refund was in order and arranged it. So a happy ending for me. Things they could do better: Fix their website, improve their communications.

Dangerous driver on the M6 nearly came into the side of me in relatively slow traffic 30mph . Had to do an emergency brake and. Hand on horn

Rang them , but don't bother as "they are too busy to talk"

Ordering on line was easy ,the prices beat all the well known DIY stores, delivery price was really good and the driver who delivered was very polite and helpful.

Ordering on line was quick and simple. I had an email later the same day to say delivery would be the next day! I had to ring up to ask if they could change the delivery to Tuesday and the man who answered the phone was very accommodating and friendly.
The delivery man was fantastic and went out of his way to drop at the bottom of a farm track.
The only negative was when I rang on the Monday afternoon to ask if they knew a rough delivery time, the woman who answered was very curt and a bit rude. I do understand the delivery slots may not be sorted until later or even on the day itself, but there is a nice way of saying no - 'sorry!'!
