Not what is advertised at all

Like many others have said, this is not what is promised in advertising. None of the blocks light up and the company makes it extremely difficult to return them and they won’t simply make it right by sending you like up bricks. My kids do enjoy playing with them but they’re cheap and easy to break. Do not buy these.

As others have said. Total scam.
Say they are light up the. When they arrive they are not. Claim they will send light up blocks but don’t. When you ask for a refund they tell you to pay 20% restocking fee plus international shipping despite admitting that they sent you the wrong order.

I’m sharing this so other parents can make an informed decision.

I ordered a Buildiblox set because the product description and marketing clearly stated that the blocks included LED lights. This was important to me, as it was a gift.

When the order arrived, none of the blocks had LEDs. I initially contacted customer support thinking I might be missing something. After several emails and checking every piece, the company eventually confirmed that they had shipped a non-LED version instead, without notifying me in advance or offering the option to wait or cancel.

I was then told I could return the items only if I paid international shipping and a restocking fee, even though the product did not match what was advertised. When I explained that this wasn’t acceptable, communication stopped.

I ultimately had to resolve this through my credit card company. I wish the situation had been handled more transparently from the beginning. I recommend that other parents proceed with caution and document everything.

I noticed many other reviews describing the exact same situation, which suggests this is not an isolated issue.

scam don’t order expecting any glowing blocks

I Bought 2x200 boxes to get the glowing blocks included but they came without the glowing blocks.
I emailed the company and they replied asking for photo and proof which I provided with all 400 blocks laid out on a table clearly and now they won’t return any emails with a solution. I’ve contacted them several times over the last 4 weeks with nothing back.

False Advertisement - Blocks Do NOT Light Up

We ordered two sets of light up blocks for a Christmas gift. None of the blocks light up. I emailed customer service many times to ask for a refund or a return slip. They finally responded with the note below. We have not received replacements and the yet the company continues to advertise all over social media, promoting a product they allegedly do not have. This is a terrible way to conduct business. Misleading kids is unacceptable.

The LED blocks sold out much faster than expected, and to avoid having your delayed, the system fulfilled your order with the standard 200 piece set. It is still the full set you purchased, just without the LED add on blocks, which will be restocked soon.

We have a new batch of LED blocks on the way. While we don’t have the exact restock date yet, I will reserve a pack for you at no extra cost and notify you the moment they arrive so you receive the LED pieces you were expecting.

No light up bricks - cheap imitation

As another reviewer mentioned, no light up bricks included which was the whole point of buying these. Have attempted to make contact, but they never respond. Opening a chargeback with my bank for these.
If you search the name Buildiblox on social media, lots of other people have had this issue too. Clearly a scam company, avoid.

If I could give a zero I would
Scam!! No light up blocks and they have not responded to any of the 5 emails I have sent over the past 2.5 weeks I bought 600 blocks and not a single one was light up.

Ordered on 12/10/2025

Ordered on 12/10/2025. Said it cleared customs from Canada(must have missed it was coming from there) and last posting is “handed to local carrier, in transit” on 12/22/2025. I’ve sent two emails asking for the tracking number so I can see which carrier is delivering and there is no response. I believe this is a scam and will report it’s one.
Update:
I received my order on 1/7/2026. It took almost a month for me to receive it. I didn’t know it was coming from another country and from the tracking it got hung up at the Canada customs. Understandable given the busy Christmas season.
Thank you for your prompt reply after my review and update emails that were sent. I am changing my rating.

Sadly the item delivered was not what…

Sadly the item delivered was not what was advertised and purchased, there were no LED light up blocks that our children were really looking forward to. Have emailed customer service and has not been resolved. Maybe a victim of their success and ran out of the original product so started sending out inferior alternatives? Or just a scam! Either way disappointing ☹️

I received the products however it was…

I received the products however it was not as advertised.
The blocks do not light up!!!
I specifically ordered these because they lit up but they don’t!
They were extremely expensive for what they are.
Would not order again.
