Total waste of time and money and very rude staff

So I've left a review on trip advisor and Google to warn people to stay away. Myself and family stopped over on way home. We should have done a road side cafe or burger king ! We should have left on entrance it stinks filthy and needs repairing. We stayed bad move right! We were so hungry so we ate what we ordered no point complaining my french ain't that good and they speak no English. I'm well travelled and have had blue steak in some weird and wonderful places never had this issue. Myself and daughter who got the same were up and down to the toilet non stop. We've had bad stomach cramps sickness and the trotts. The doctors don't have appointments to see us so can't confirm it but it was Wednesday night we ate this and we still having issues am sure we have food poising. This may be good for the weight loss but is not for getting things done. Please read all the comments I didnt as my husband wanted to go so bad so I'm blaming him as well. Next time I will read the reviews and go with my gut literally out the door. If you treasure your back side stay clear their are better out there like in the mall along the road which we only discovered when leaving. I have emailed their head office but I won't hear anything back they'll be sick of the complaints

Stopped here during a trip to France. The food was the worst we've ever had anywhere and we've been about a bit! The 'chicken' burgers were deep fried, battered, reconstructed mulch which, when I cut one in half, had what looked like the remains of an eye (size of a 1p piece embedded in the so-called meat). The (beef) burger was completely tasteless mincemeat.

I did complain and declined to pay for all of it although i said we'd pay for some (the small amount we'd forced ourselves to try and eat). After some conversation and us declining to choose something else they offered, and our complaint about the poor quality of the food, the manager screwed up the bill and said, 'You don't want to pay? Fine.' Then waved us away. He didn't seem to care or comprehend that it wasn't that we didn't want to pay, it's that we'd wanted to pay for half-decent food, bearing in mind we knew it'd be the fast-food variety, but that this was nowhere near that.

Next time, we'll know not to bother. The one star is for the sweet waitress who was apologetic and powerless to help.

Worst place ever. Raw steak, 50 euros for two, I got food poisoning as a consequence. The place should be closed down DO NOT EAT HERE. Crap on all fronts and that includes false apology.

We (five of us) went to the Issoire "restaurant". There were so many issues that upset us I can't mention them all. Three of the five mains were edible but certainly not cooked well. I ordered the chilli and was dished up with such a small portion I complained. Not only was it small but it had rice mixed in with the beef and a portion of rice. My suspicions were they were trying to bulk up meat as there was so little of it, or even worse, it was left overs- but I have no way of knowing. They reserved but this time it was burned to the metal skillet it was cooked in. I ended up not eating anything. The service for us was much slower than for anyone else- we weren't being difficult or rude so we didn't understand that. Some of the lettuce was slimy and should never have been served up. Then after we got up to show we were leaving, as we'd been left sitting there, the manager made out he was doing us a favour but not charging us for the inedible meals. I have to say that there may have been a language issue as our french is not too good, and the waitress was genuinely trying to be helpful, but she seemed to have no backup from the kitchen or management. Will never use a Buffalo Grill again

We were on the way to the port and drive past and decided to eat here.

The meal came promptly, which was good but we literally couldn’t chew the meat, it was pure gristle.
I called to let someone know and there was nobody to be found so I took the plates up to the bar area and explained that the food wasn’t edible. (We were the only customers at this point).
This waiter quickly took the plates back to our table, and he himself tried to cut the meat- with no luck!
He asked did we want a pudding and of course we wanted to eat so had a pudding.
Then we asked for the bill- he brought over the bill with every item we ordered on it! We couldn’t believe it and objected.
He said “But you ate half !” Actually all that was on the plate was the majority of the meal we didn’t even try, the rest was the meat we had tried but was solid gristle so we’d had to put it back on the plate, and the chips .
He said my husband could have his expresso coffee free.

We worked out how much the pudding one coke and one expresso would cost (roughly €17), and I gave them 25€ and we just left!

If you see this place when you are on the way to the ferry I would definitely not recommend ordering beef, I obviously cannot comment on the other choices available.

Attention : certains restaurants ne les servent pas les samedis ! (ceux autour d’Angoulême par exemple )

Nice family restaurant which the children love. There is a good choice of items in the menu and as long as you take one of the pre-set formula menus, you will get a good deal for money. If you order separate dishes, the bill can go high quickly though. They also have a children play area which is a nice addition

It was a disaster. The entrecote was not tender as expected. My husband ordered a famous bacon burger, well done. It came raw. And the bacon was not roasted. We send it back, but still it was raw. It did not taste if anything, very watery. Not a good experience.

Very terrible. Messy tables everywhere with dirty plates and glasses. Over an hour and half wait for food,children's simple plain burger sent back twice as was wrong. The other food was not great. Very expensive for what it was. Ended up leaving without dessert as it was to late and taking forever.will not be going back

Bad experience! Found a live animal in the salad a dirt as well. They said it was a spider from the ceiling.. it wasn’t, and if it was a spider it was disgusting anyway. Cannot be recommendede at all.

We use Buffalo Grill frequently in France, always extremely good value for money, staff are nearly always helpful and kind , great place for families, although normally it’s just the two of us..Generally they are busy but well positioned seating offers privacy to a degree..Definitely a good all round restaurant 👍🏼

Nasty food and awful, slow service. Sometimes I wonder if the french try to get rid of clients. Given any opportunity they seem to overcharge, be rude, trick and cheat. Buffalo grill may look like a US diner but staff, food quality and service are all modern day french and sub standard from modern global levels. Avoid
