Appalling

Appalling. Used to use their previous incarnation. Booked MOT for 12/06/2019. Dropped car off. They called to say had failed due to a break fluid leak, which is fair enough. Said they would fix it and re-MOT. I was walking back to collect my car when they phoned. The master cylinder was now broken ((came to light when bleeding brakes). It was working when it went in. They hadn’t been able to fix. They claimed that it was to do with the additional travel on the brake pedal whilst bleeding. I have no idea if this is true. They said they would need to keep the car overnight. As I live 10 miles away they eventually gave me a car to take home overnight (as the correct part would be delivered ‘in the morning’. The ‘courtesy’ car is filthy inside but overnight- at least it got me home.
Next day I called them ‘wrong ‘ part delivered. They have said they’d keep in touch and didn’t. I eventually got through after 5.00 pm. They need to keep the car until at least tomorrow. Part delivery mid-morning. I had already told them that I must have the car as I was in hospital the next day for surgery. The person at the garage could offer nothing other than ‘there’s only two of us in tomorrow so we don’t know if we’ll get around to it’. ‘We’ll call you when it’s ready’. He was for some reason unable to understand general anaesthetic! My wife will need to drive me for which we need our car back )circumstances mean she can’t drive the filthy dirty ‘courtesy’ car. They may have it done some things me next week and will call me tomorrow)when I’m in surgery or recovery). Bunch of clowns who I will never be using again. They have no idea of customer service or customer needs. Jokers who presumably think it’s funny that someone needs their car back. Don’t use them.
