A NIGHTMARE

I don't even have the words to describe how horrible this company is. I'm a cancer patient with long-term effects from chemo. I have heart failure, and a parathyroid adenoma. I have surgery coming up in two weeks. My company unfortunately uses Broadspire. I submitted a paid sick leave claim, effective 10/9/2025. My case manager will not call me back, and even though my claim was approved over a week ago, he hasn't submitted my payments to my company yet, so IF I get a call back, the soonest I will receive a check will be 11/6/2025. I have no way to pay rent, I have no groceries, and I'm so stressed it's affecting my heart to the point that I can't even drive to doctors' appointments. I literally have $8.19 to my name, and have no idea when I'll have any money. The phone reps have very limited access to any info, all they can do is submit a request for a callback from my case manager, which of course, is a moot point. Broadspire is a nightmare. Case Managers are hired with zero relevant experience, work from home with their TVs blasting and do not give a single f---k about helping people with life-threatening illnesses.

LIES LIES LIES

LIES! So much for recorded calls! I work for T-MOBILE which is a great company but they have unfortunately choose to use this blood thirsty Broadspire BS. 1st call- was advised tO call back a few days later based on dates of qualification. 2nd call- gave my info & we talked through the steps. Was everything would be set up & good to go. 3rd call- everything is denied based on date discrepancies caused by them referring me to call back at a later time. Was advised they would review all our recorded calls & get it taken care of. Did not receive a courtesy call with help. Only a few minutes later, I received an email of denial. This company is full of liars from the top down. I truly hope the entire corporate structure faces criminal charges. They all deserve to be homeless & suffer.
PLEASE REACH OUT TO ME DIRECTLY!

Worst Insurance Company

This is the worst insurance company in the world. It's been a month already since a company truck with this insurance totaled my car, and they're not responding to phone calls, and we haven't heard anything from them. This company is a Scam, I don't know how this is legal!

They will find a way to not pay you !

They constantly ignore and don't return your phone calls . I called to double check that I had all my responsibilities covered on my end I did all the proper paperwork and filed everything I was supposed to and even called back just to reassure myself. Of course I could never get ahold of the agent assigned to me because she never answered her calls (not once) had to talk to a general operator that couldn't access my info. Long story short they found a way to not give me a paycheck and act like your the one at fault . Zero stars and a joke of a company

This company is a dishonorable in my…

This company is a dishonorable in my experience. They told me they would compensate me, had me to send them the information they requested and I did certified and electronically and then they stopped responding and never called back; the adjuster and the agent with them. The corporate office at Rouses never responded back either. I left voicemails and emails with them all. What they did to me was waiting they said they received the information on over the phone at a half the year then as time moved on they would email me that they never received my information so then I sent it electronically and never heard back from them. They waited till my year is nearly up to just never act like I existed. It saddens me cause as a cancer survivor who was in recovery time, I didn’t want to fall in Rouses Store. They had no caution signs and water was invisible until I was on my back looking at it. I may not get nothing from them, and no lawyer will help, because they think it’s not enough money to fight for. I just pray God deals with them these people. This is a nightmare.

Worst company ever

Worst company ever! They ask for absolutely ridiculous amounts of information to file a claim and then will change the requirements as you go through the process so they don’t have to pay you. Avoid this company like the plague.

Broadspire is terrible. Their claim agents don’t return calls as promised. When you call the main helpline they don’t have knowledge of your claim. Worst company I have ever dealt with.

I almost have no words for how bad…

I almost have no words for how bad Broadspire Workers Comp is. My husband was injured on the job a few months ago. He was assigned to Jennifer to handle his claim. She is the most unprofessional, rude and unhelpful rep we’ve ever dealt with. My husband’s checks are consistently late. His first 3 or 4 checks were mailed, and he didn’t receive them until 7-10 days after the pay date. At one point he had to wait 3 weeks between checks because of how they issue and mail them. The last check was changed to direct deposit and was the only check he received on time.
Every time we question Jennifer on the pay dates she shoots back rude emails, she doesn’t answer any questions directly, she won’t answer why his checks are late, she answers with completely irrelevant information. For instance, his last check was paid on 3/28. He’s supposed to be paid every 2 weeks. 14 days from the last check is today, 4/11/24. He emailed her asking for clarification on pay date as no check was issued to him today. She responded with he’ll get paid on 4/15 (which is 18 days, 2 1/2 weeks from the last check). When he replied questioning why this check will be late she wouldn’t answer, she just keeps parroting the pay period dates (which, when calculated, still shows 4/11 is the pay date, not 4/15).
When a person is injured and unable to work, on top of only receiving a percent of their normal pay, the last thing they should have to worry about is receiving their pay on time in order to pay basic living bills and buy groceries. Yet, Broadspire is continually causing more stress with late checks and horrendous customer service. I was a Senior Payroll Administrator for over a decade and I know how payroll works, it’s not rocket science. When a company says they pay every 2 weeks, it is every 2 weeks. Those dates absolutely should not change at the whim of the issuer/claim rep every check. And there’s zero excuse from veering off a set 2 week schedule. Every calculation I’ve done, based on Broadspire’s pay periods and check issuance dates, his pay date is today 4/11. Yet Jennifer keeps saying 4/15. In no universe does that date make sense. And Jennifer won’t explain why it’s late.
If you happen to have a choice in workers comp companies, I would caution anyone against using Broadspire.

Update: As of 4/15 no check had been issued. The claims adj and supervisor both emailed my husband saying they issue checks “timely.” Which is a lie. The check was finally deposited this morning, 4/16, 2 days short of 3 weeks from the last check (when it’s supposed to be paid out every 2 weeks). They wouldn’t tell him when the next check will be issued, only saying the next check is up for review on 4/26 (which is 2 weeks from when the check should have been issued on 4/11). It’s unknown at this time if the check will be issued on 4/26, or if it will be held again like the current one was.

There seems to be absolutely no ramifications for Broadspire when they are late on issuing checks. I know certain states have laws that require work comp insurers to pay a fine for being late. We aren’t in one of those states, and it feels like they’re aware of that. It also feels like they are continually pushing out the check dates, in a way trying to force someone back to work due to the excessive time between checks. In the meantime, claims adj’ers gaslight by saying nothing is late (when you can clearly see it is).

This company doesn’t deserve even one…

This company doesn’t deserve even one star, for me personally they are the most incompetent group on planet earth, if you get a call back be thankful, if the person on the other end of the phone seem to care just one bit be thankful, it reminds me of a Chinese fire drill, god bless you if you have to deal with this company, again this is based on my personal experience.

AVOID ALL INTERACTIONS WITH THESE…

AVOID ALL INTERACTIONS WITH THESE CLOWNS!

My complaint was forwarded to them from Wecasa (another useless business) after my Wecasa cleaner moved my mirror and damaged the paintwork on my wall.

I provided clear evidence of the damage (which corresponds to positioning of the sharp edges of the mirror) and a message from the cleaner saying she moved the mirror.

The dim-witted claim ‘investigator’ said that because the cleaner (who is the policyholder and their customer) said she didn’t do it, they’ve ruled in her favour.

They don’t even try to hide their desire to not want to pay out.

They were trading as Collective Benefits

Like everyone else who had to deal with…Broadspire is TRASH

Like everyone else who had to deal with this sorry company, they're pathetic. My workman's comp. adjuster name Tiffany Debottis need to find a whole new job because she will not respond to me nor the healthcare facility I have been assigned to. This shows the maturity she does not have at all. Do your darn job. She refuses to respond to any emails I send regarding my workman's comp mileage claim which I sent twice no response from this individual. If you feel my case is way over your head pass it someone who's more compassionate with people and never get a position deaing with people who have real serious injuries. I'm a real believer in Karma. Linda Shaffer I'm gonna throw in the mix too. You're just as bad. I always believe in putting myself in the other person's position who is unfortunate. You will reap everything you sow. It may not happen in my time but it will happen.

Horrible

Horrible. They do not care about anyone. I have been dealing with them for almost 2 years now for a workers comp claim. It started with them refusing to do Direct deposit. Checks would take 2 weeks after they say they mailed them for them to show up in the mailbox. And now that they do direct deposit they pick and choose when they want to pay you so checks never come when they're supposed to still it's absolute nightmare adjusters keep changing almost weekly and they don't care that people livelihood is in jeopardy on when they pay or not so bank account is constantly going in the negative and getting fees because they don't pay when they're supposed to. And now my credit is also in the dumps because I can't pay bills on time because they refuse to pay me when they're supposed to
