Not even worth a 1 star

Not even worth a 1 star. One customer advisor was extremely rude. Issues with account. When I tried to add extra service they send me email with confirmation but nothing changes at all. All of a sudden account shows information that has been cancelled etc. basically avoid. I was quite happy with BT broadband but once it switched to EE, I am not.

Absolutely terrible experience.

Absolutely terrible experience.. Had an engineer come on Wednesday to install broadband only to be told that there was a network outage and would not be able to connect and said he or another engineer will come back later when the issue was resolved.. 3 hours later a different engineer came and it was still not working.. Today Thursday I phone EE and they told me my job had been returned and need to rebook and will take up 48 hours for another engineer to be sent out.. I work from home and need Internet.. I swap from Vodafone for this nonsense.. I wish I'd of stayed.. Like they say.. Don't fix something that's not broken

A Very Disappointed Customer

As with a number of reviewers I was persuaded to switch to EE when my BT contract ended in March 2025. I have a guaranteed 700mb broadband service, and to be fair my connection always seemed pretty fast. At least when using the speed check function in the EE app that's what it always reports. On 6 occasions this year however there have been Internet dropouts and slow speeds to my 'phone, even when only feet from the router. This has got worse during the month of June and today Downdetector is report broadband issues with both BT and EE. On this occasion the problem just might not be solely with EE, but I really regret making the switch.

EE not good

My fiber internet gone down for the 6th time in the last 8 weeks, when its down good around 24 hours, excuse from EE somebody could have driven into the cabinet box ore it’s to hot, even a machine might have damaged the cable. Today even their own computers are down. Can’t talk to a manager it takes 3 days. Last Sunday when it was down I wrote a complaint to EE and was told a person would be in contact with me still waiting. Worst decision I have made going over to fiber and the worst customer care going. According to EE the have been awarded 25 times for their service, maybe 25 time’s for being the worse internet provider in the UK,I completely understand technically issues to arise . It’s just 6 or 7th times in around 8 weeks it’s happened

EE cut our broadband 2 weeks before our contract ended, couldn’t reopen our account due to their cancellation policies and after spending 3 hours on the phone with them the resolution is: deal with it. No financial compensation and was told that working from home was not something that domestic broadband covers and so being cut off from our work was our fault. Opened a complaint but was told that I would never hear feedback and that instead it would just be ‘funnelled back into the company’. Thoroughly disappointed and have been overcharged by a service which has wholly under provided.

EE Switching Farce.

When I switched I was told I’d can claim £300 to compensate me for the penalty charge for ending my previous contract early. When I received my previous provider final bill, it was just over £300, I contacted EE Broadband to claim my £300 and was told I had to wait 28 days while they check my eligibility, and even if I’m eligible, it will still take 28 days. They were very keen to sell me the product, now I’m out of pocket £300 while EE takes 28 days to pay me. Switching should not cause any customer more work than it’s worth.

They put router at my grounds floor

They put router at my grounds floor , there is no signal upstairs. They visit once and put router on stairs up so far they can with cables already installed . That give signal enough strong for all flat . They say someone came and fix this cables on stairs . No one show up , they cancel appointments saying they not reach anyone at home … it’s crazy ! Trip hazard and they don’t care . Costumer service from India don’t help at all ! Total disaster

Atrocious service

Atrocious service. My internet is not very good at the best of times, today’s speed is dire, less than 1mps, 0.8 to be exact.
Was with BT for many, many years, ended up paying £68 pcm for broadband and landline. The subscription cost always rises, never falls. Absolutely no recognition of loyalty. No fibre where I live, copper wire here, with no indication of when I will be brought into the 21st century.
Now paying EE over £46 for my dire service. Never an apology, offer of a refund.
Dreadful, dreadful company.
They’re laughing all the way to the bank.
Ofcom where are you? Hello, hello….?

Just had to pay £96 to escape EE

Just had to pay £96 to escape EE, but it was worth it. The only thing worse than the broadband service is the customer service. Had months of the broadband connection dropping constantly, but EE are adamant it is fine up to the router, after that it is not their problem. Ten different devices (not all at the same time) unable to maintain connection whether on wifi or plugged in. Openreach have been out and said there is a fault on the line, but it won't be fixed because fibre is being installed in the future. Three neighbours have had the same issue with their broadband connection, but EE are adamant it's not their problem. Moved to Starlink, same as the neighbours.

I'm going back a few years but I used to buy game booster packs through them my bills kept going up and up I used to question this but they lied and said third party charges there wasn't any they charged me 150 percent more the highest amount from others was 40 percent I phoned Google and they confirmed it. I also paid extra 20 pounds one month pre buying the packs I spent about 16 pounds they tried to charge me an extra 30 something pounds afterwards I refused to pay my contract ended and I now have debt collectors after me it's a long story but they are extremely expensive dishonest and don't give a damn.

Flawless service—my broadband is absolutely brilliant and lightning fast

My personal experience with EE broadband has been absolutely fantastic from day one. The connection is rock-solid, incredibly fast, and hasn’t dropped once since it was set up.
Streaming, downloading, and running multiple devices in the house works perfectly with zero lag. The infrastructure is top-tier, and the service does exactly what it is supposed to do. I am a very happy customer and would highly recommend their broadband to anyone looking for a reliable, fast connection.

What a diabolical company

What a diabolical company. They constantly tell lies when you phone them. My broadband is consistently below the so-called “guaranteed minimum speed “ and many, many times there is none at all. They have promised credit on three occasions, but nothing has been forthcoming and they won’t do anything about the lack of broadband service! Don’t use them!
