Dishonest experience and slimy sales techniques. I’m writing this review here mainly because the shop owner uses this site to bash the competition. Although they sell Dr. Martens, if you visit wearing them you’ll get trash talked and get a sales pitch showing Dr. Martens score on Trust Pilot. He’ll ask you if you would visit a restaurant with such a low score so why buy from a company with similar ratings. Then he’ll sell you Solavairs at a significantly higher price than what the company sells them for! It don’t take my word, go for a visit for yourself when in Camden Town.

I had a fantastic experience at the British Boot Company in Camden Town. If you are looking for high-quality, niche footwear, this is absolutely the place to go.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They clearly have a lot of passion for what they do, which makes sense given their long history since 1851. They are known as the UK's original Dr Martens shop, and their selection of exclusive boots is impressive.
Highly recommend stopping by if you're in Camden and want excellent service and a pair of shoes you won't find anywhere else!
