Great company, efficient , quality part and good value

Great company, got me out of a pickle with a discontinued volkswagen part. High quality galvanised replacement suspension bolt for a rear trailing arm. Easy to find and purchase on their site. I used Royal mail 24 postage. (I think the negative reviews are based on the courier which is a bit unfair to the company)
I was very pleased with the fast shipment and quality and especially the price. Absolute life saver. Thanks

Ghosted and no parcel

I ordered back in november, and I still haven’t received my parcel. They don’t answer when I email - I suppose it’s a fake company - DONT ORDER FROM HERE

As with previous reviews paid for fed…

As with previous reviews paid for fed ex next day waited 2 working days ,tracking shows item in Newcastle? Business in Yorkshire and I live less than an hour away from that in Lancashire in completely the other direction from Newcastle !!
E mailed Brickwerks and the response was yes it’s the most expensive postage option available but not guaranteed so what’s the point in choosing it if it’s not actually going to arrive sooner than 1 st class Royal Mail , his final helpful response was IF it arrives refuse delivery and we will refund minus postage ?? Easy to get good reviews without effort if no problems arise but when effort needed they are not interested . Thankfully this was only a small value purchase I think I would be very unlikely to use this company for anything of value and if you did I suspect it would be an endless circle trying to get a refund or the item delivered if there were any issues .
Update was contacted by e mail with threats about what the company feel were inaccuracies in my review
Firstly they feel my issue and review should be with fed ex but I had no dealing with them only this company who choose with which companies they deal therefore are responsible for issues related to those dealings
Secondly I am not sure if they deliberately misunderstand but I never said it was fedexs most expensive postage option but the most expensive option on your site
Thirdly I fully understand that despite the description on your site saying next day delivery against this fed ex option that this isn’t guaranteed but I still feel that for it then to take 4 days is something that rather than just doing nothing is something that should be chased up by you as the business using fed ex and as faster postage was paid for in this case for a particular reason as I had a work van off road .
Finally I do acknowledge that you did in fact advise I should refuse delivery IF it arrived and that you in fact offered a full refund not minus postage .Thankyou for blocking my from your site as this will stop me if in the future I unwittingly had the misfortune to order anything from you again maybe use the reviews to improve your business instead of veiled intimidation to cover bad customer service .You have my full name and postal address so I am not sure why you would think and I quote all e mail communications are traceable is really much of a threat I stand by my review.

I ordered a part and paid for Fedex…

I ordered a part and paid for Fedex Priority delivery. You'd expect 1-2 days. Nope, I can expect it in 4 days time if at all as I'm not confident at all. Whats the point in offering and charging for a service that doesn't work? Also, no customer service at all. Fedex even does not deliver at weekends so what is the point? If the service is not available late Thursday and Friday why advertise it as an option? I am not impressed one little bit.

Spot on with fast delivery

Spot on with fast delivery , needed left and right front door handle seals for an old t4 , fitted perfectly and was alot cheaper than buying from Germany.

Great unless you have a problem.

Great unless you have a problem. Twice I had problem with orders and, they twisted my words against me, put words in my mouth, assume ill or wrong intentions on my part, refuse to ship a replacement because they decided that I would not be happy with it.

The emails and actions that they take comes across as very condescending and patronising. I would never treat my customer like that, especially when customers are upset, even just a little bit upset. Their customer service people need training because they fail to realize that emails can easily be misinterpreted on their part which, leads to very unacceptable reply to us the customers.

In the end, they generated emails over emails for nothing, claiming that I was hard to please and, that they were great. I think it’s acceptable to vent a little when you pay for expensive genuine VW parts and that the quality is not up to spec.
Theys even sent me, early on, a picture of the replacement and, I told them to ship it. But no, they decided I was not going to be happy with it because I vented a bit, and not even on them but, on the quality of Volkswagen made parts. So, since they know me more then I know myself, they refuse to ship the replacement.

All I wanted and, finished most of my respond to them with was to ship the replacement as soon as possible. If they would just have done that when I authorize the replacement early on, everybody would have been happy. At least I would have been.

Quite literally the best customer…

Quite literally the best customer service I have ever experienced - couldn't find anywhere that did a clutch hose for my old T4 - emailed these guys and within about an hour so they hade made me one and i'd ordered it. Quite brilliant.

Superb

Just superb. Parts arrived the next day (some tinware for T2) without me even having to ask for it - and yes, I was in a hurry. Excellent quality reproduction - just like OE. I can only recommend.

Having spent literally thousands with…

Having spent literally thousands with this company, I was expecting more than this reply when 2x of their less expensive products caused issues.
This is the reply I received when I asked for a replacement.
'You’re only going to moan anyway.'
'God yeah… imagine being at Busfest and not having something to moan about. That would be terrible.'
This is response I got after a decal started pealing immediately after having been applied and a badge won't stick fully into brand new paint. Having publicly asked for others to come forward who have had similar issues, I've had many replies from others with the same problem.
Think carefully about ordering from Brickwerks. Their prices don't look as generous when the customer service is at this level.
The products in question are a Tristar Syncro decal and a Syncro badge.
The vehicle will be at Busfest 2023 on display with the faulty products for everyone to see in full detail.
