Absolute amazing place. The range of ales is superb, and it’s very family friendly.

We had Korean pork bowl, Korean duck and egg fried rice and to top it off the kids ate gorgeous chicken and chips for free.

We washed all that down with two pints of the Juice Forsyth which was delicious and picked up some take out beers for later.

The service was top draw too. The barman was attentive and had great suggestions for the beer and things to do on our holiday in York. The lady who served our food was equally as lovely and brought the kids food first so that we could enjoy our food once the kids were sorted.

Perfect dining out experience and will be coming back for sure.

I’ve been to their York taproom several times and it’s always been good. B-road selection of quirky beers, nice food and a good atmosphere.

Just ordered some beers from their website. DHL messed up the order and one of the boxes I ordered didn’t arrive. After they consulted with DHL the arranged a refund. Good service.

Great bar and great service.

3 of us went, 1 ordered food to take away with our table number, after 50 minutes no food so asked staff and it was in some kind of keep warm oven even though it had our table number on.... 2 of us were eating in, food came and it was cold, so we sent it back, they came back 5 minutes later with the same food that had been microwaved to death - soggy, hot in the inside cold on the outside. Plenty of decent places to eat and drink in York, this isn't one of them.

Coopers in Guiseley pre Brew York was a good pub, new owners (Brew York) have sucked the life out of it ... card only payment WTF, do you your research man, we pay with cach in Yorkshire---same in your Otley pub, no fecker in it, souless...

Good beer in the tap room, civilised customers and helpful staff. Lose star as they only take card, come on guys otherwise cash will be phased out then we're all at the mercy of tech and worse.

We came to brew dog as a party of 20 with a table booked. We were discriminated at the door by the rudest bouncer and told it was too busy for booking. Would not recommend

My kind of beer (sours) and a good selection too. Helpful staff, willing to chat and offer tasters. Seem to know their beers. Yuzu is a great food offer and complements my style of drink well. Order and pay via the app not a problem. But don't include the automatic 10% tip. You need to select 'other' and enter 0.00 to complete the transaction. I am not in the habit of tipping for service before I am actually served! Who is? That has earned you a 4-star instead of the 5 the beer and food actually deserve.

I purchased some juice forsyth from the store and when i got home and opened the boot of my car and the can literally exploded i have never seen anything like this my life!!! This went all over me my 3 year old daughter and my partner if the lid would of come of this would of hit my daughter in her face and would of caused some serious damage im absolutely distraught about this and i want some kind answer or explanation of why this has happened ive sent an email to yet no response there also nowhere to upload images i hope to here from you guys soon otherwise i will be taking this further!

Tour guide was excellent, really knowledgeable and personable. Beer samples were great apart from the cucumber strawberry sour- I have to ask......WHY?
Stayed on and had more beer and some food, the chicken tender chilli sauce numbed my mouth more than expected but in a good way!
Well worth a visit and excellent beers!

Ordered food via phone at the table, for me and my son. 50 mins later no food so he had to leave. When I approached a member of staff I received a blank look. He offered me a refund, but no explanation or apology. Pretty poor. In fairness I have been before and the service was ok then. Spoilt our afternoon. I don’t think I’ll be going back.

This review will cover 2 parts in all.

I originally bought one of Brew York's beers from Morrisons, which went on to explode in my pantry one day whilst I was out, covering the inside with (sticky, by the time I got home) beer, but more annoyingly wasting a beer.

I got in touch with Brew York via messaging on their website but had no response, so after a week I emailed them directly on Sep 16th, and only received a reply on the 25th after I had sent a follow up email saying there had been no reply in 9 days. The responder said they would arrange for a webstore discount code to be issued, but again after no response in 15 days I got back in touch on the 10th October, and received a reply on the 12th with a code for £10, which covered shipping for placing an order, the cost of the original beer, and about 70p leftover. So for this part the very slow communication is a thumbs down, but when you do get a response and resolution I was happy with what was offered. Honestly I wasn't expecting anything but to not lose out on the beer I had bought originally so just wanted a replacement really.

As for the second part, I actually placed an order on Oct 27th for the original beer plus two others I liked the sound of. Delivery arrived on Oct 30th via DHL, packed well enough and arriving in great condition as well as arrviing swiftly. Absolutely no issues with the order and delivery, which gave live tracking of the drivers whereabouts.

Overall, the initial communication was good but rather slow, whilst actually placing an order was a seemless experience, with an easy to use site, so I think overall a score of 3 & 5 respectively for the two elements adds up to a fair 4/5.

Terrible Customer Service, I placed an order online a few months ago and have been trying to contact customer service since then. Their phone number is just a recorded message that tells you their emails, and they never respond to any emails or their contact form. Basically, if you have an issue with your order, you're screwed. Buyers Beware!

Wow, amazing beer, but great guys too.
Known these guys for years when Lee and Wayne started it, as well as Andy the true legend. They put just as much effort into brewing good beers today, as they did from day 1, and the customer service is fantastic. Really good to see Brewyork growing and growing, its good they have taken the customers with them on the journey too. So much respect for the beers and family feel of the company. Well done everyone associated with this great company.

My first visit courtesy of the YCFC centenary celebrations. Really enjoyed the visit. Great venue, pleasant staff & competitively priced beers. I'm a stout drinker so I tried the Tonkoko. An excellent milk stout. I enjoyed it so much I ordered some online the next day.

Being very local I thought I’d try the Osbaldwick Tap having been recommended by friends …only to find after my drink was served that they only take cards! With reluctance I offered the only card I had and the reader would not take it by contactless or by pin, (both bar & reader were sticky with beer,) now I’ve heard of cash only but card only??? In a pub! how commercially daft is that?

Brilliant tasting on the Brewery Tour; they create some outstanding beers.
However, most of what our guide told us was lost in the noise from of those in the surrounding "pub". The guide needs a mike so that all can hear clearly, please!

Great, fresh beer, great company + customer service.

Bought some Juice Forsyth today, after 8 hours of being stored in a cool cupboard one has just exploded.
Won't bother again .
