I recently purchased a used car from Brenwood, I’ve previously had a negative experience purchasing from a different dealership.
Jake was really helpful and made the buying process easy and clear. There were no hidden costs or extras or pushing to purchase extra service/MOT plans etc.
I will definitely be looking to return if I’m making any further vehicle purchases, and will definitely recommend to family/friends!

Car under warranty but need to pay gor diagnostocs
We have bought on Volkswagen Touran from Brenwood in October 2025. We have paids extra to have extended warranty up to 12 months. In Jsnuary 2026 a light came up on the dash board that there is a fault with the hand brake. I booked a check up with Brenwood because I thought that they will do this for Free ( cause the car is still under warranty ) . They check my car but charged me 90 £ + Vat. Which neither me or my husband remembered that we were told that when we have bought the car. You won't find this information anywhere that you need to pay for the diagnostics. We aren't coming back there for sure !!

Just to clarify, the diagnostic charge is standard practice for used cars and is outlined in the warranty documentation provided at the time of purchase. Our team also makes a point of explaining this clearly in advance so customers know exactly what to expect.
We always aim to be fully transparent, so it’s disappointing to hear this has caused frustration. If you’d be open to it, we’d be more than happy to speak with you directly and go through everything together.

Great customer service for a local business
I have purchased a few cars from Brenwood previously and like to support local businesses even though I stay in Edinburgh. Jake was very helpful, polite and friendly regarding the part exchange of my car which I bought five years ago from Brenwood. I got a great price for both cars and Jake sorted the paperwork smoothly . I would highly recommend Brenwood Motors - great customer service and a good website with a super variety of cars.

I had my car MOTd and serviced here and the service was wonderful! Health check video was insightful and explained in a way that was easy to understand, but not condescending. Communication was great throughout and prices were very fair.

Positive experience
Positive experience. The whole team were friendly and helpful. I was buying a small used car for future learners in our family. Jake was personable and genuine which made the experience pleasant. I already knew I wanted to buy the car but the level of service and communication made me feel confident in my purchase. I have not had the need to use their after sales service but will do particularly as I have a free MOT while the car is in my possession 🚙

The process from beginning to end was absolutely superb and seamless. Barry couldn’t have done more for us, he was always updating us on the progress of the car sale and when we met him in person to view the car, his customer service was exceptional and again, he couldn’t have done more for us, any questions we had he answered and any concerns we had he easily put them to bed. The car was delivered in brilliant time and the delivery driver was again a credit to the dealership. When looking for my next car I will definitely be keeping Barry and his team in my mind.
