Talk about 'Slow dating'! It's fine if there is actually dating, but its more like 'Non-existing dating'! 1 match over the course of at least 8months. The streak count is also rubbish. The dates app... See more

The dating app designed for offline dates. Instead of chatting, matches directly fill out a date picker. Breeze then arranges the first date at a safe and partnered bar. This way you don’t waste energy swiping and chatting, but actually meet real people face-to-face. Join the community and download the app now: breeze.social.

My experience with Breeze has been…
My experience with Breeze has been unacceptable, and I would strongly caution anyone considering using this platform.
You are required to pay before a date is even properly confirmed, which already puts users in a vulnerable position. From there, things frequently fall apart—people cancel, don’t show up, or behave unreliably—and yet there is no meaningful accountability. The platform’s policies appear weak at best and completely unenforced at worst.
What is most concerning is how payments are handled. Even when the service is not delivered as expected, getting a refund is extremely difficult or outright impossible. This raises serious concerns about fairness and basic consumer rights. In many cases, consumers are entitled to a withdrawal period and refunds when a service is not fulfilled, yet Breeze does not seem to uphold these principles in practice.
It creates the impression that the platform continues to collect money without ensuring that users actually receive what they paid for. Meanwhile, users who act in good faith are left out of pocket, with little recourse.
This situation deserves scrutiny from consumer protection organizations. At a minimum, there needs to be transparency, enforcement of policies, and a fair refund system that protects users—not one that leaves them feeling trapped or taken advantage of.
Until those issues are addressed, I cannot recommend Breeze to anyone.
Not bad not great....just ok
There are large number of exaggerated reviews on here. The app is fine but not really great or amazing.
Pros
It does encourage slower dating and is less overwhelming than other apps.
I like only having a few people to view each day.
I have never had an issue getting a refund for tokens - I just contact the helpdesk.
I have been to a few very cool/unique bars as a result of Breeze.
I love the ethos of it regardless of the practical side.
Cons
People are still very flaky on the app, I've had 2-3 guys cancel.
The app struggles to showcase suitable potential matches, I think the pool is still too small. So a number of people you are shown are not compatible.
Some of the date locations can be a bit random/far.
SCAMMERS!!
SCAMMERS!!! Twice now they’ve booked a date at manahatta and then cancelled, but decided to keep half a token. On another occasion, they booked a date at a place out of town, in a tough area that wasn’t safe. I said no to this and explained how unsafe this was. Following the cancellation of manahatta, they then suggested the unsafe place despite previously telling me they took my comments on board. My date and I have arranged to meet at, you’ve guessed it, manahatta. However we can’t actually text each other about it until just before the date. Time and time again Breeze wasting my time and scamming people out of money arranging dates that don’t exist. All they want is your money, they don’t care about the safety of women, and they will not allow any conversation with your date for when something goes wrong AVOID!
THEY JUST FORCED YOU TO ACCEPT WHATEVER SERVICE THEY WANT TO PROVIDE.
People on apps are nice as you can imagine, they paid for the dates, so at least they are kinda genuinely want to date.
HOWEVER, THE APP SUCKS.
I chose drink at a bar as my option accepted activity. Breeze cant find a bar, so instead of cancel it and refund me, they changed the service to self-organised date and charged me half of it. I cant change the date, cant get a refund, it was not on their T&C.
THEY JUST FORCED YOU TO ACCEPT WHATEVER SERVICE THEY WANT TO PROVIDE. I RAISE A DISPUTE WITH BANK
I paid 1$ after signing up Then right…
Listen up, this is a clear-cut case of a bait-and-switch, plain and simple; I signed up, paid the advertised one dollar, and immediately saw the next charge for $14.99 pop up right after, which I canceled within seconds of it appearing. When I contacted support, they initially suggested a refund would be processed, only to abruptly change their tune and deny it completely—that's today's scam in action, pure and simple. I authorized a single dollar payment, nothing more, and never, under any circumstances, gave them permission to pull nearly fifteen dollars from my account; this practice is dishonest, unacceptable, and frankly, it smells like a deliberate trap set up to catch people off guard. They got my initial dollar, but trying to snag that extra amount without consent is where this whole operation crosses the line into being a rip-off.

A mean way to play with people' mental health. Men go there to go on dates, ask women to exchange numbers the next day and then they reject them on the app. This has happened to me twice. It de-personalises the experience of dating, makes communication impossible. Disgusting.

Love the idea of this app and I really wanted it to work. Got 4 matches quickly after joining however 1 never responded to the match so that was cancelled. The one just wouldn’t reply to arranging a venue as no partner ones available so that got cancelled. The final one cancelled 4 hours before I date. As a widowed mum with a young child I find this unacceptable and really hope he gets penalised and banned from this site. It should be 24 hours before. They say they weed out the fakes and messes about but it’s clear those people continue to use these platforms. I know have tokens in my wallet but think I’ll just lose my money as pointless destroying your worth
Nice concept but no dates materialised
I love the concept of Breeze but having been on there 4 months I’ve had no dates. One potential who cancelled on me twice! Don’t think this is necessarily the fault of Breeze, more the dating scene (why do some men go on apps without any intention to meet?!). I reported two people on the app - one for no face photos, it’s not Feeld - and the response from Breeze was fast and good. I also got a refund for two dates sorted in less than an hour so the support is responsive. Annoyingly I did see the same people pop up in my feed. I would say to give it a go (it’s free until you pay for dates) but go in with low expectations.
Terrible venue choice
Terrible venue choice. We were told we had to order food to get our free drink. It was a busy restaurant and not a suitable venue for a blind date. I felt really uncomfortable and when we left no one was bothered so I dispute the ‘the bar staff are looking out for you’ claim. Terrible app. I won’t be using again
Disappointing and inefficient experience
I used the platform for approximately five to six weeks and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.
I encountered technical issues and reported them, but instead of clear resolution, my profile access became restricted, which was frustrating and confusing.
I also found the overall process inefficient. Matches would express interest but delay confirming dates, and some cancelled, making the experience unreliable and a poor use of time.
Based on my experience, the platform did not provide the level of professionalism or reliability I expected. I decided to delete my profile and discontinue using the service.
I hope the company improves its technical stability and user experience going forward.
Looks like the app has folded
Looks like the app has folded! Fairly good concept, but they didn’t have enough decent people for dates…it’s gone back to the phone registration screen.
Do not use.
From a business point of view. We have repeatedly tried to remove ourselves from the app, and our requests have been ignored. Do not give money to these people, they will take it and give you nothing in return. We have had to turn away many potential love matches due to their incompetence!
DO NOT USE
An absolutely rubbish site - if you dont live in London give this place a miss. 2 suggestions every 24 hours and then ban you for 7 days for rejecting a date with someone you matched with a month ago !!!!
Great experience - wish I knew about it sooner
I think the app is a great idea, I find it difficult to find the time to endlessly message someone on the other apps when a lot of people don’t actually want to meet they’re just bored and want gratification or to send explicit messages. Breeze means you can match with someone serious about dating irl. I like the fact it plans the location for you as I am finding out about new places I hadn’t been to before. Recommended profiles are good matches for me and I like the fact it is an easier way to inform someone if you don’t want to see them again as it saves the awkwardness. It also feels safer as the venue staff know you are on a breeze date and the app gives recommendations for safety and has a help desk and you can report profiles if needed. The only negative is that sometimes the venue changes a few times before the date, I was looking forward to going to one place and then it changed.
It would be good to see it in more towns such as Swindon and Cirencester as currently I have to drive to the nearest cities.
Very few matches and yet no way to hd…
Very few matches and yet no way to hd each refund on tokens if someone cancels, you just get the token to use again. Also terrible locations which you have no say in really. Matthew street on a saturday during a liverpool match. Genuinly cannot think of a worse date location.
Terrible experience - do not use it
My experience so far has been that Breeze magnifies the same issues as other dating apps. In particular, removing the chat makes people feel even less accountable in treating people as human beings. People feel even more disconnected when they go on dates, and relationships are even more fake and superficial. I went on a few dates and this has been my experience. If you can't take the time to even exchange a few messages with people you are not my person

Excellent concept first date met a lovely woman and we are no dating. Thanks 🥂🥂🍾🍾
Scam
This is the worst and most appalling app, they are criminals. One minute they plan a date for you and your match and the next they cancel cos “there isn’t a partner venue available” They lied that they sent me half the refund but till this day haven’t gotten my money back. They are scammers and I’ll strongly advise against going anywhere near this useless app.
The venue was closed
The venue was closed. They go on about how the staff at the venue will keep an eye on you to keep you safe. No I had to loiter outside in the dark waiting for a stranger, how safe is that?
What a truly awful experience.
What a truly awful experience.
So much of this process is unsafe and the policies and follow up customer service which is meant to support you is not there.
Stay well clear of this appalling app
