Used to be excellent for paint but now is a complete shambles.
Expensive and quality of mixes
Is terrible.
What has happened?

Really bad service these days I would avoid it if you can

Classic motorcycle paint to be matched to a sample was ordered. The wrong shade when delivered and I returned it for a refund. Breakwells refused to refund my payment. Letter to the director was ignored. Then County Court summons was ignored. County Court judgement against them was also ignored.
My advice to anyone seeking paint, go somewhere else.

By far the worst company I have ever experienced.

I ordered 1 black and 1 silver heat resistant paint on next day delivery for £12. After not receiving the goods, i emailed to chase. It wasn't until i had a response they told me silver was not in stock but did not explain where the black paint was.

I asked for a refund for the silver paint and for the next day delivery charge as the black paint was no where to be seen.

The black finally showed up 6 days later but trying to get the refund for the silver is becoming a chore. Numerous emails have been sent with misleading replies. One said the accountant will do it when she returns, one said the manager will do it when he returns.

After various angry emails, i have had no response and i am still waiting for a reply and my refund.

Since new staff started running this place its gone down hill bad. Paint matches are shocking and paint quality is terrible. Since when is 2k paint mix at 5to1. About as shiney as dirt. Will not be using again

Staff are always very helpful on the phone, easy to order any RAL colour and finish you require and despatched same day.

What a service, made enquiry in morning, paint was custom mixed and ready by the afternoon. Received the paint via courier the next day. Excellent.
Staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Have now used the paint & am very pleased. Coverage is really good, colours match between tins & no problems with runs.

I had been recommended Breakwells Tekaloid paint and found the service, delivery time and advice all to be first rate. The bespoke colour I asked for was spot-on so I can't recommend this company highly enough. This is in complete contrast to the quality of coach enamel we had bought from a well known so-called specialist recently.
