Untrustworthy and sad they are this big

Made a (second)ticket about a faulty product on 12 November 2025 with the promise to hear back in 2-5 business days… it now is 14 December 2025. Never received any response from the company besides newsletters and ads… it was a complaint not a free option to have a chat.

Very happy with my purchases in…

Very happy with my purchases in Braumarkt, very quick deliveries and great support.
While the catalogue is better organized than the most of the competitors I whish there would be better suggesting alternatives or accessories or related elements to guide on the purchase.

getting fine ingredients here

my pals are fond of brewing their own beverages, especiilay cider, so they need some special ingredients, I am not a specialist in this business, but I know from the cider they make that is treally good, better than many brands actually, and cheaper to me :DD actualy I pay nothing haah, but I know it is not expensive as per my friends words

Delivers almost expired malt

It has not only a giant waiting time for your order to be shipped, but the last time I received the malt that has the best before date was just a month after the date of delivery. Thank you very much, Braumarkt!
The only reason to use this store again because their fermentation buckets are good.

Not sure what to think about it

I had ordered two bucket brewing kits. Both came with taps that were too large for the hole in the bucket. Because of this, I had to send an email. Fortunately, new taps were sent free of charge, which is nice. The website also stated that care should be taken to avoid scratching the inside of the buckets, as this can promote bacterial growth. However, when the buckets were delivered, all the lids, airlocks, and hard objects were placed inside the buckets. This definitely caused scratches during transport. That’s unfortunate.

There is also incorrect information on the website about the size of the brewing flasks. There are two types: one with a narrow opening and one with a wider one. However, the website lists the same opening diameter for both. This is not correct.

Delivers broken items late, uses AI-bot as service desk.

Glass items were shipped late, in an unmarked box and filled with badly packaged broken glass. Service desk unresponsive for over a week (1-3 days noted as expected time). Calling the service desk connects you to an AI-bot that continues to only speak German.

Though I usually dont mind some things going wrong, this has been a road of misery, and yet to talk to a human being.

Lost complete confidence in Braumarkt

Braumarkt merged with a German company and moved operations to the middle of nowhere Germany. This means:
1) Extremely slow delivery times (it took 10 days to get my package)
2) Very high shipping costs
3) Fewer products in stock
4) Higher product prices

After 8 years as a loyal Braumarkt customer, they've lost my trust. They really shot themselves in the foot and have a worse product at a higher price. Such a pity.
