edit: they resolved this issue, so my previous review is now in parenthesis. I'll keep it in the actual review for now to show how the Brandon Timothy team does indeed consider the perspective of their customers and do their best to make things right.

Apparently, after speaking with them about a refund and how from my perspective I felt it could qualify, although they didn't fully agree with my argument, they did at least understand/empathize with some of the points I made so decided to issue me the refund as requested. However, for some reason it didn't go through to my credit card company. They were able to verify that the refund didn't go through and sent me the refund via Paypal so they knew I'd get it. They also changed the description of their refund policy on Google search to better explain their intention for the program.

They also upped the price again from the Easter sale they had, so it makes me feel like they really do listen to feedback and are doing their best to do right by people

Although their main method of getting your first Etsy review is petitioning friends and family, they do have some other methods that I won't share since it's their proprietary information. They're just a bit "out of the way", however, once you get the first few reviews they have plenty of resources to scale at that point. I suppose there has to be a point where you do the work and get out of you comfort zone, too.

All said and done, the actual content of the program delivers on being able to build an Etsy store. The community really does help their own. And they do their best to do right by people. From my experience, they are trustworthy

(Advertised an "Easter sale", but kept the price as that since then. During that time, when you searched for their refund policy, they had a different meta description (which can be changed in your SEO settings) with a misleading refund policy description

Due to unforeseen changes in my circumstances, I requested the refund per the description that they allowed to be searchable, but they didn't hold to the words they presented themselves on per the search description. I ended up saying I wouldn't respond to the "support" anymore out of frustration.

Instead, they changed the description of their SEO search, indicating that they knew how to change it and that someone in the organization agreed it was a sketchy way of generating sales

They say they can guarantee sales, but require you to ask your loved ones for said sales. Date of experience is an estimate)

My intention is to send my certificate of completion of the "Digital Freedom Academy" to my graduate, as all the modules have been thoroughly, informative, and easy to understand. It is important to make every effort to succeed in your endeavors!!!

DFA is my first course as an Etsy seller, and I couldn’t be happier with it! The material is clear, straightforward, and super easy to understand. The beginner-friendly structure helped me set up my Etsy shop in about four months. Whenever I had questions about the course or anything Etsy-related, I could post them on the Community Board or ask during the weekly live calls. Brandon and his team always had great answers. Even if they don’t have an immediate answer, they’ll discuss it and do their best to help. I love that the course focuses on digital products, so there’s no need for a large initial investment. Overall, I highly recommend this course!

One of the best decisions I've made so far is joining this community. At first, I was a bit hesitant, as it was a bit pricey, but rest assured I've gotten my money's worth here! The course was very informative and insightful, and I felt more than prepared to tackle the challenge of starting an Etsy business by the time I had finished it. The supportive and loving community was a plus honestly. Everyone in the community is so nice and helpful, and I spend a lot of my time just going through old and new posts. I had a minor complication with my monthly payments at one point, but Brandon's team was quick to action and the problem was solved within the same day. All in all, highly valuable course, awesome people and amazing service. I recommend this course 100% to anyone wanting to become a successful Etsy business owner!

Brandon's course is a no-nonsense approach to gaining success on Etsy. Every module and chapter is explained in a very simple and easy-to-follow manner. Very clear and actionable steps to follow makes the entire process of setting up your shop and running it so smooth. The focus on etsy SEO was the biggest learning for me that made a difference. I already have 70 sales 1.5 months after putting in my first listing. With the market research, that Brandon has taught in the course I knew I would start having sales pretty soon but I wasn't expecting so many sales that quickly. I highly recommend this course. The digital products/Etsy space is full of influencers and gurus who sell you exactly what you want to hear. They sell you this story of making millions with a very low-effort approach. Brandon on the other hand, is honest and does not sugarcoat. He understands and communicates that selling digital products requires a strategic approach paired with hard work. He simply gives you the tools that he learned along his path to success. I know it sounds funny, but he is very "human". You can tell that he cares about his students and takes pride in his work. I could write an essay but don't hesitate to take the course. It's a bit pricey, but I would say the value is certainly there.

I started the Digital Freedom Academy after watching Brandon Timothy on YouTube! I was inspired by his success and have always wanted to try to sell on Etsy myself, but never had the knowledge base to do so. The course was well laid out and I was able to jump in and start learning the first steps of selling on Etsy! And after about a month of learning from Brandon's course I was able to open up my shop! Within a week I was able to make organic sales and now, almost a month in, I am almost at 100 sales!

Highly recommend!! I started an Etsy shop before joining the DFA and it was not successful because I had no structured plan. After joining DFA I had a clear path to follow which is what I was missing before. I have been able to make sales after using everything I learned while following the 10 day launch plan and I am so grateful!!
