Total scam.
Do the test and you are signed up for a subscription.
The only way to cancel the subscription is to email them.
In my case, the subscription was a 7 day free trial. I emailed to cancel well within the 7 days, they replied to that email and still didn’t cancel the subscription and charged me.
Then a sequence of emails about their refund policy not allowing them to refund me and a refund of 75% off being their ‘final offer’ . I expect these emails are automated with the aim of hoping the person will give up and let them keep at least some of the amount charged.
Got the refund only by insisting and saying I would initiate a charge back with my bank.
Never have I felt so stupid as falling for a free iq test advertised via Facebook!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Brainsmate.
I made a one-off payment to obtain an IQ test result. I subsequently emailed the company, explicitly stating that I did not wish to subscribe to any ongoing service and did not authorise any further payments from my account. Despite this, I have now discovered a $57 transaction pending against my account which i did not knowingly authorise.
I have contacted their customer support via email to raise my concerns and request that no money be taken from my account, but I have received no response. I would strongly caution anyone considering using Brainsmate to check the payment terms and monitor their bank statements!

This Company scammed me
This Company scammed me. I authorized a one time payment of $1, and they signed me up for a $39.99/Mo subscription without my permission, and their website has NO option to cancel it. I will be submitting reports to the FCC and the BBB because this is absolutely ridiculous. I recommend anyone to avoid working with this company at ALL costs, they are scam artists. This is unacceptable.
