I've been using Brainscape on my desktop and phone to learn new vocabulary, and it's been a truly seamless experience. What I value most is the flexibility—I can create as many custom classes and decks as I need, filled with my own words and phrases. It's incredibly easy to set up, and I've been able to make significant progress with my language studies, all without a paid subscription. Highly recommend!

I use Brainscape’s free version, and even that is awesome. I’m working toward a certification for work, and Brainscape makes it easy to turn the slower moments in my day into productive study time. The app makes progress feel simple and tangible—which keeps me motivated, even with ADHD (not always an easy thing!).

Brainscape flashcards have supported my learning for WSET wine qualifications. Using the online cards on a daily basis reinforced my learning and made the facts stick in my memory to use in essay questions and share my wine knowledge. As a result I got a distinction! They are very easy to use on a phone so easy to spend a spare few minutes learning.

I´m doing my WSET Diploma examination and it´s a lot of stuff to learn. With brainscape it´s a fine method to recap and fix in mind. So I passed the test with distinction...

The app is great and has endless decks to study as well as creating my own. I've used it for years and can identify every country in the world on a map. I'm about halfway through capitals and flags :)

The format is really well thought out. From recurring problem questions to dynamic status indicators and different tactics, it feels like different learning modalities can all be accommodated here.

I’ve been using Brainscape for approximately 30 days, and coupled with my online learning platform, it has greatly improved my recollection and memory of vocabulary and phrasing.

User friendly! Really good platform/app for learning and studying. The only thing I’d like to see is a multiple choice option so you can test yourself that way too! Other than that this is a very solid study tool.

We use Brainscape for my daughter's multiplication and division facts. She was struggling with recall, but after a few weeks of using Brainscape, we have seen a huge improvement in her instant recall of these facts. It simplifies keeping track of the facts she is confident with and the ones she needs extra repetition of. It is incredibly easy to use, and she loves tracking her progress.

I decided to study German, and the package includes this app. It is user friendly and helps me expand my German vocab along with it’s pronunciation. I highly recommend.

This approach really does work in helping not just embed knowledge but also the ‘why’ of something. I have used it twice now to support qualifications and each time it has been instrumental. For me it doesn’t replace the need to know the core content from the course provider, and that isn’t what I want or expect. What it does do is to support the process of embedding that learning. I have found the ‘mastery score’ to be a good indicator of my level of progress and anticipated outcome.

Amazing, resource to help revise for my exams. The spaced repetition is the perfect method.

I bought the ETS official flashcards from the GRE and it brought me to this website. I've been hooked ever since. It's made learning vocab (my toughest area) fun. I love that this app gives me a streak because it's motivating to maintain it. I also appreciate that this app has 5 categories of mastery to choose from after reviewing each card it breaks down 2 steps further from the classic 3 categories of mastery: new, review, and familiar. If you're studying for the GRE and Verbal is your weakest subject then have NO FEAR, Brainscape is here to help!
