I phoned an order to Bude branch on Sat…
I phoned an order to Bude branch on Sat 31st Jan, and wanted to pay by BACS, therefore wanting bank detail.
The assistant said he was too busy to send an invoice that day (with bank details), and it would be sent Monday 2nd Feb.
I waited until approx 11.00 on Monday for the e-mail, but nothing happened and phoned Bude again. Another invoiced was promised straight away, but again nothing happened.
As the items were needed shortly, I decided to order on-line instead. This was done and the order, with a slight amendment came later that week. The delivery driver was most helpful.
I felt the customer service was extremely poor and also the Jan5% was not deducted from the order.

Really good service.
As a DIY'er I find them a great place to get all my materials. Their delivery service is excellent, the drivers are helpful and the timber etc is good quality. Highly recommended.

Bulk load ordered in advance for…
Bulk load ordered in advance for delivery 2 miles from Bude yard.
Our contractor contacted them this morning & was told it would arrive late morning even though he had asked for an early delivery as this was for concreting shed bases so obviously needed early in the day.
Chased up delivery when it did not arrive only to be told it would now be between 1pm -2pm.
Did not arrive until 2.30pm at which time it was too late for the job to be done.
Totally unacceptable & a waste of cement mixer hire & contractor time.

Bradfords in Bude are superb...
Bradfords in Bude have been superb over the past few months (as have the 2 drivers that delivered the goods…navigating our very difficult lane). Allan (Grubb) has managed to get me out of a couple of major problems by getting everything I’ve needed bang on time without any missing items and has kept his sense of humour when I’ve had to make multiple last minute changes which has meant he’s had to go above and beyond to fix it for me....and Paul (Vance) in the tool hire dept was also brilliant - managed to get the digger fixed at very short notice for me, so I kept to my deadline.
It seems there’s a lot of poor customer service these days, so I felt it important to celebrate exceptional customer service. Please pass on my thanks to these guys in particular.
