My sister bought the jenny backpack for me. The bag looks beautiful but that's as far as it goes. Don't expect to last more than 1 child.
Zip broke and the material came away at the front compartment, exposing everything in it.
Not durable at all.

Disappointing, poor quality, cheap quality, despite the price tag.

I purchased the Jenny bag in 2020 for my first baby, during covid I wanted to support Irish brands. The bag was €160 so an investment purchase that I would have assumed I could use for that baby and others.

I used the bag on my first baby for maybe 7/8 months and stored for my next baby who was born in August of this year. Have used it a handful of times since August the material has basically ripped all across the front compartment - leaving a huge gap so you can see into this compartment- terrible quality. Fully appreciate there is only a 1 yr warranty however for €160 I would have expected a durable, good quality bag to of course be used for years and other siblings.

Images and feedback sent to customer service over a month ago, no reply.

Generally don’t leave reviews but I think brands such as Bow & Rattle should at the very least have the curtesy of replying to customers if an item is defective in such a manner.

Quick and efficient delivery and the product is fab. As a mum of five kids, space and practicality is important and it’s so handy having a backpack out of your way. Works well with babywearing. Loads of pockets and space and I particularly liked that you could fold the changing mat one handed! Bonus that you look stylish too. Excellent overall, highly recommend.

I was delighted with the bag when it arrived however the main zip soon showed signs of starting to get stuck and after 10 months of light use stopped working completely.

I asked for a replacement zip to fix the bag and was told that one couldn't be sent and when I then asked for a replacement bag instead they didn't even bother to reply.

I'm very disappointed as I spent €160 on a bag that was described as luxury and timeless and am increasingly frustrated that the bag lasted only around 10 months of light use.

Very disappointed with this product. The bag looks really smart, has lots of pockets and fits a lot in. However, after a year of use the zip has completely broken. For the price it is, I would have expected it to last me for multiple children but as it is, it will only last for one. The company were unwilling to offer a replacement or even a discount and I feel rather embarrassed to have recommended it to friends. I would definitely not suggest buying this bag and would urge Bow and Rattle to look at the zip they use as it is clear from other reviews that this is not a one off.

Initially the bag was great. Lots of compartments and great matching accessories. Unfortunately after only 2 months the zip is totally broken and the bag is difficult to close. Considering the bag is faux leather but still quite pricey I would have hoped things like the zip would be better quality. Im going to have to find somewhere to replace the zip if I want to keep using the bag. Such a shame as the design and storage is great.

A small issue arose with a bag we had bought from Bow and Rattle. As soon as I contacted the company to ask for help in resolving the issue I was replied to immediately and had the matter addressed promptly and efficiently. I was really impressed with the customer service I received. We LOVE both the Bow and Rattle bags we've bought and we get great use out of each of them. We love the bottle carriers, the little extra pouch and the changing mat also that comes as part of the purchase. The bags are easy to pack, easy to carry and very easy to keep clean. A really worth while investment in the early stages of your little one's life and I'd highly recommend.

Absolutely love this bag. I’ve wanted it for some time & I got it as a Christmas present & I am so happy with it. It’s a practical & fashionable bag for both mum & baby. It saves me bringing two bags out, which is what I wanted.

Overall an elegant bag, looks really pretty! I got it in grey. But it was also a bit heavy once I loaded my baby’s belongings inside it and was a little too big, so decided to return it. But that was my personal opinion as I like to pack alot of things!

Another bag where the zip broke after a year, I've owned two other leather travel bags for over 15 years and the zip works fine. Sort it out, this is ridiculous.
