Bad experience - Business 1 year old
Business 1 year old, struggling to get finance despite having profit in the bank.
Constantly had to chase.
Always said funding imminent then not.
Dont keep their word.
Was so disappointed in the service.
Would suggest their are more helpful companies out there.
Booked a phone call in with Matt to occur Friday 23rd October at 9.30am didn't call. Apparently ill, but no apology or email to rearrange. Radio silence. Then when I emailed and called them out on it, saying they didnt bother to reply because they weren't getting anything out of it ie mutually beneficial, i woke to a lovely email off Sian Yates basically telling me I am unhinged.
A lovely way to speak.to someone. I never lowered to that level. I just chased and chased and was ignored on several occasion.
Happy to provide evidence on this.
No apology was recieved but i can confirm
I have now just recieved an email now after I have left this review offering the rearrangement of the call. Again happy to provide evidence showing this in the email train showing this was responded to after I left this review

Firstly, we fully acknowledge that your scheduled call with Matt was missed due to illness. We apologised for this and offered to rearrange the meeting. It is therefore disappointing to see this presented as though no apology or attempt to reschedule was made.
Throughout your application, our team provided an exceptional level of communication, with regular updates on the progress of your funding. In fact, the frequency of communication was considerably greater than we would ordinarily provide. Whilst we understand that securing finance can be frustrating, particularly when time-sensitive, it is simply not practical for a business to provide updates every 45 minutes when there is no new information to report.
It is also worth clarifying that a funding offer was secured for your business, which you ultimately chose not to accept. That is entirely your decision, and one we respect. However, the terms and availability of commercial finance are determined by lenders, based on their own lending criteria. A business showing a profit does not automatically guarantee access to the funding or terms it would prefer.
We were also surprised by the tone of this review given the positive feedback you provided to our team in earlier email correspondence.
