We contacted them several times to request assistance and also offered alternative solutions, including delivery to your home address or redirecting the parcel to a different pickup point.

Bottle of Italy is the worst wine…

Bottle of Italy is the worst wine company I have ever dealt with. My package arrived with broken bottles, and after I contacted them and asked for a replacement with new, intact bottles, nothing was properly resolved. I have been arguing with them for one month, and I am still waiting for my refund. Very disappointing customer service, very poor handling of damaged orders, and no serious solution offered. I do not recommend this company at all.

Watch your money

This is an addition to my previous review: they have refused to refund the money for the bottle they never sent. Lousy, untrustworthy. Never again. * Update, since they decided to lie in their reply. Here are the emails:
26-01-2026: Hello,
We would certainly be happy to resolve this situation amicably. As an e-commerce site, our business relies on our customers, and we are always glad to find mutually satisfactory solutions.
I would like to ask if we can resolve this matter in a friendly way. Usually, in such cases, we offer a complimentary bottle as a gesture of apology, since our customer service always strives to do its best. I am confident that, as a reasonable person, you will understand the situation.
Of course, we also need to protect ourselves, but I would be truly happy to hear from you and find a solution together.
If I may, I would like to mention that I specifically handle these types of situations, as I am responsible for reviews and customer service. Resolving this matter positively would be a great help for my work in the company.
I kindly ask for your cooperation, as there was surely an error on our part.
I look forward to your kind reply.

I will discuss this with my manager. Before proceeding, the review needs to be deleted or updated positively, as the delay was not entirely our fault, but due to DPD holding the shipment at one of their depots.

To make homemade limoncello

To make homemade limoncello, my wife needs household alcohol as pure and concentrated as possible. Many suppliers here in Belgium are making a fortune this way. I found exactly what we needed at Bottle of Italy, and at a very reasonable price. The purchase was easy and quick, and the shipping was flawless, with the item arriving in a well-protected box. We'll definitely come back to this excellent site!

Absolutely lovely store

Absolutely lovely store, they have so many gorgeous things, from oils and vinegars to wines and lots of other lovely things. I have bought several times from here and everything is excellent quality. The flavoured olive oils are out of this world and so pretty sat on the shelf. I absolutely love this store and its a joy to browse and buy from here.

Avoid it

UPDATE - STILL AVOID IT

This is an awful company to deal with, I've order at the end of november for Christmas - they never kept me updated about the delivery status I had to send tons of emails, many with automatic and careless replies, to have an answer and hoping for a reaction, i had to contact dpd myself with wrong informations to get through and finally thanks to dpd and not to bottleofitaly, I've received my order at the end of January way after Christmas (it was a meant to be a gift) without any excuses
So it turned out it wasn't a scam but the conclusion is the same
AVOID IT

Extremely long delivery times

This site is a scam. I order 14th of November and still nothing has arrived there is no customer service reply DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE!!!
Update February 6th the bottles were finally delivered this week after various emails with the customer service.

Good stuff but long waiting period

I am very satisfied with the price and choice available. The only negative issue to report is the waiting time. It took 10 days to get my order shipped and another 20 days for the courier to ship to Denmark. I honestly thought I had been cheated. Fortunately it was not so!

Received the wrong order and they still havent sorted it out. I just want to return the wrong product and get the right ones delivered. Its going on for more than 1,5 months now.
