Mostly, I am receiving old stock medicines, and the delivery is also very late because An Post is very slow. I wish Boots would use DPD for higher-value orders.

Items destroyed

Placed a large order with Boots chemist on line. It arrived by An Post courier 🚚 and it was a total disgrace the way the items were boxed for delivery 📦. The packaging was such that the contents burst and destroyed the box causing items to be lost in transit. All the remaining contents ordered were damaged to such an extent that they were unusable and totally useless. Boots distribution/delivery service is absolutely atrocious. I will never again shop online at Boots Ireland.

Avoid boots deangrange

Was given a different medicine then the original, only spotted when we got home brought it back sealed ,unopened with receipt and they refused to change, staff are beyond rude and not for the first time, will not be using again.

Chaotic

Order placed on Friday, 17th October.
By Monday, I was informed the order had been cancelled by the pharmacist and that I’d receive an email or call explaining why. Spoiler- that never happened...and I knew it wouldn’t.

I emailed on Tuesday through their website, only to be met with yet another joke, it demanded an 11-digit order number, when Boots order numbers are 9 digits long. Seriously, who designs this stuff?

No one replied. Not a single email back. I had to call the customer service line myself this morning, just to be told it was cancelled and that they couldn’t give me any reason because they’re just “the call centre.”

So here I am, left with the choice to reorder something I’ve had before, fully expecting it’ll just get cancelled again with no explanation whatsoever. Why was it cancelled? What’s the reason? How hard is it to actually contact a customer when you say you will?

The whole thing has been a shocking experience from start to finish. Careless, uncommunicative, and downright frustrating. Boots needs to seriously rethink how they handle online orders, because this level of negligence is beyond acceptable.

The worst customer service

Ordered gift sets for Christmas presents and they arrived ripped and completely squashed with contents spilling all over them. Contacted customer service, they continuously sent an automated message but never answered any questions or resolved the issue! Avoid at all costs!!

Lisa in Boots, Carlow. Great advice

I was chatting to Lisa on the No7 stand about primers. She offered to do a make over for me to see the results. I took note of all the products she used to buy at further dates. I'm very happy with my primers and the finished result was amazing. A very good make up artist and sales person. Thank you very much Lisa.

Received a used product and the refund wasn’t correct

I ordered a sunscreen. Received a heavily used item (stains all over the bottle, stained box, torn top of the box). Was traveling and returned the item to their store far from my hometown. The staff issued a refund for a wrong item (didn’t give me any receipts, otherwise I would’ve known back then). Now I am instructed to travel to the shop again (a day of my time + money), to sort their mistakes. Disgusting and shameful

Absolutely disgraceful behaviour I’m…

Absolutely disgraceful behaviour I’m ringing boots for 4 days . I ordered a number of items there in store but the points they gave is no good as the account is locked now. I’ve rang today was left 1:30 mins waiting for girl to get back to me. I’m cancelling my orders and advise ye to be careful with boots I just lost €75 . To the girl who left me on phone 90 mins Shame on you

O stars

Order 3 Christmas gifts click and collect on the 12th , order estimated collection the 15th , went down 3 times the owl one rude as hell clearly hates her job was like it's not here wait for the text message...today's the 22nd and I got a message saying it's in store and guess what , staff are like no its not 😐😐😐 emailed customer service and they cancel my order after that for home delivery of my newborns formula , absolute brain dead fools . Never again ,

Damaged packages

Boots have to be up there with the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I purchased a number of gift sets online, most of which came with damaged boxes and product spillage. I bought online for convenience but now I am expected to either drive miles to return to a physical store or package all the product up and return to them. I do not intend to do either but one thing is certain, I will never again purchase anything from Boots!

I was a fool for giving Boots online…

I was a fool for giving Boots online shop another go. My order was cancelled without any contact to inform me that it had happened.
I only found out when I went to their website to check why I hadn't received my parcel. I contacted them and only received a ready made reply. I requested them to contact the service I used to pay to cancel the transaction and was informed that I HAVE to wait to complete 30 days from the day I ordered the products to have that temporary payment authorization automatically removed.

Lesson learned. From now on, go to my local pharmacy.

Slow with An Post

Online orders are often delivered late with outdated stock medicines. While An Post might be contributing to the delays, Boots could consider using DPD for higher-value orders.

Scammers

Scammers, sent an empty box which should of had expensive perfume in it, sent all the proof videos and pictures and still won't give a refund, they have robbed my money, do not buy online from them you won't get your money back if any issues.

Bad service

The products that were picked and put in parcel were damaged and dirty. Not very nice when they are a gift for someone. very disappointed with the service. The box was not damaged so they cant say they got damaged or dirty in transet. Not good experience

Received an item that was not as…

Received an item that was not as described online… contacted online who told me to return the item to any store for a refund. Went to the boots in Limerick to return the item and the manager there rudely refused to take back the item saying it had been used!

Boots App = Crap!

I'm not sure whether I'm reviewing under the correct branding as it's the Boots App that I'm not overly impressed with - placed my order for gifts to go into a hamper for the 29th August, placed the order on the 18th and was told, it was dispatched and would be with me for 22nd August.. Still no sign, nor is the tracking information even received via An Post! So, as of today, I have requested a full refund as it's pointless now (even though I have waited the extra few days like Boots had suggested..). Then to have an email to say the investigation into my missing order would take up to 2 weeks before any potential refund comes my way.. Are you actually shitting me!?
