So let me say this I’m writing this… All you haters

So let me say this I’m writing this review because after researching a legit promo company I got to boost collective and I read all these positive reviews then I get out to the one star review. There’s one thing that I noticed in reading all of these one star reviews, and that was that your music sucks. I actually was able to listen to about 90% of the people who left one star reviews. The only thing they have in common is their music is not very good. No wonder they didn’t get good results. Can’t blame that on the company. They can’t take shit and turn it into sugar. If you want to get mad at somebody look in the mirror.

Buyer beware

Buyer beware! Pure scam.
The upgraded campaign never bumped playlist positions, pitched new playlists or change songs, all of which was supposed to be included in the price.
5 cancellation emails in and the cancellation request it still refused.
With the 6th email with a cancellation request, these scammers started spamming the payments over and over again. Thank god i had the bank block their requests. Stay away, pick a real service.

Might get you banned from Spotify

Edit: As a result of my earlier review, the company has refunded my fees for a period of time. However, I was still banned from Spotify due to the use of automated listening-bots, which led my publishing agent (Landr) to remove my music from all platforms, including Apple Music. On balance, clearly not a scam (they did refund) but equally not worth the money (I got banned and had trouble contacting them). Changed the score from ⭐ to ⭐⭐⭐ as there‘s a chance I was a freak exception.

Original review:
It does what it says on the tin. Initially. But be aware: Spotify may well ban you for using them, as they apparently use bots quite extensively. Also, good luck trying to cancel your promotion. They keep charging me $80 a month for absolutely nothing and don’t reply to any emails. If that’s not a scam, then what is?

My Priority Go To For Promo

Boost Collective has been my number 1 go to for almost a year now. They get you the promotion you need! They have an entire team split up into different departments and it goes through every department to ensure you get the placement you are aiming for. These people are very knowledgeable in music and know what they’re doing. No need to second guess their intentions. They’re here for the artist not just the cash grab.

Great Service - Greatly Appreciated!

So far, the experience with your staff has been awesome. In particular, a gentleman named Damian who has been great to work with. He has been checking in on our progress and sending some great advice, helping us along the way. Although, I will say that the Website is a bit clunky and could use an upgrade for the pro users. Next, I'd like to get our music on META!!!! Would love your help with this. Sincerely.

don't go near Boost Collective.

I signed up around 2 weeks ago. Really excited to get a song out there I just get nothing ... "we couldn't find any playlists for this song." Sent a message, no reply. So I thought lets do the monthly thing that may spark it up... still the same. Very peeed off, maybe this will get a reaction and I will get what I've paid for. If by some chance the BC guys read this the song is Night Vision by Ellena Russell. I will be very please to change this review if things change but at the moment my advice is don't go near Boost Collective. UPDATE: I have now been added to 3 playlists after I went on the chat. I will wait and see if I get any results before I change my star rating.

Totally a waste of money

£180 for Tracks which were dance pop genre. They put them into playlists all indie music?????

Tracks hitting 21k YouTube. Here in 2 days absolutely nothing

I'm 100% positive they did not listen to the tracks as they would not put them into playlists with songs over 40 years old and in the wrong genre category

Total waste of money . I would like to be refunded as I'm totally not happy.

Hi Danny,

Thank you for reaching out and for your patience.

We reviewed your campaign and want to clarify, your placements were actually matched correctly to your track based on our genre analysis at the time of submission. Indie and Pop share a significant overlap in playlist curation, and the playlists you were placed on reflect that.

That said, we genuinely want you to be happy with your experience, so we'd like to offer you two options:

1. We redo your campaign with placements leaning more strictly toward Pop

2. We issue you a full refund

Please reply directly to our customer service and we'll get it sorted right away.

My songs were placed on a couple…

My songs were placed on a couple playlists each but the majority of all the playlist minus maybe one had no following and generated no streams. For the cost of the campaigns and what I received was definitely not worth the money. I would look elsewhere for more reliable playlisting companies I have found several others they give you much more value for your money and have much better playlist placing. **UPDATE** I can confirm all of my 3 campaigns were refunded. And they have sent me multiple emails requesting I take down this review. No chance.

Hi Benjamin, thank you for sharing your feedback, we take every review seriously and want to address this properly.

We can see your account had 3 campaigns fulfilled, and your songs were placed across multiple playlists including verified, high-follower playlists actively grown with targeted ads. The placements were real, relevant, and delivered as described.

That said, we've gone ahead and issued you a full refund because we want you to be happy. We hope you'll give us another shot in the future.

Lets be honest the reason we’re all…

Lets be honest the reason we’re all here is we want Spotify streams. I can tell you that after using boost collective the song that I promoted had 10 times more streams than the songs that I didn’t. It’s that simple.
