NO THANKS

NO. They used to be good back in like 2015. I recently purchased 8 books from them. on the website they had multiple of the same book with different covers. I specifically paid extra for all matching covers from one series. they send the first two books after about 3 weeks...they are the covers i asked for. the next three come a month later...wrong covers. i message them, they say they can only do store credit and not a refund. 2 months later...still waiting on the other book. it took them about 4 months all up to send these books that they claimed to have in stock.

Disappointed Customer

Bought a couple of Mangas, website states delivery in 3-5 business days. It is now almost 10 business days and only after posting a 1 star review, I received a reply.

I wish there was an option to give 0 stars.

I placed an order (#31664153) on 28 February and have reached out multiple times via DM with absolutely no response. At this point, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve tried to get an update.

The complete lack of communication is unacceptable. If the item isn’t in stock, just say so and issue a refund instead of ignoring customers.

This has been an incredibly frustrating experience and a complete waste of time. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

Service has gone down hill

Since they were bought out they have been terrible. Slow delivery, split orders, they take days to return an email and can't even add a bookmark or two with orders. They used to be amazing.

Happy Grandchildren

I used Booktopia for books for my grandchildren. What a variety to choose from!! What great prices !!! No one could be disappointed from their experience. There was great communication, good price, the books were exactly as described and I received the order in a few days. Highly Recommend

I never received my purchase and could…

I never received my purchase and could never communicate with anyone only a chatbot which was not useful in any way.
Neither the company delivering the product or the supplier seem prepared to accept any responsibility. I know from the photo the courier sent the parcel was left sticking out of not wholly in my locked letterbox.

if it did not fit in the letterbox so it could not be stolen it should not have been left in it, there is a nearby post office it could have been left at for collection. it was not left wholly in a safe place, I never received it so I have lost $100 its an expensive nothing

Awesome service

Awesome service. Got my books within a week of ordering which I really didn’t expect being in West Australia ( we are used to the WA meaning ‘Wait Awhile’ usually postal service not the supplier) 5* service and will def use again….

Again!

Again, i order 8 books that seem to be in stock, and they trickle in over 6 weeks, one at a time. Just as last year, i can't keep track of what ive paid for, and i am apologising when i should be handing over gifts. I MUST remember never to use them again.

Absolutely abysmal customer support…

Absolutely abysmal customer support which is just an automated reply. When I ordered the book it did not say it was out of stock and had to be sourced elsewhere. I could have ordered this book from another supplier and at least have a delivery date. It's the lack of response to a query which is frustrating. I have no idea if the book is on its way.
Please Booktopia rethink your Customer Service model.
