A business that relies on dishonest scam tactics to get a profit. When you sign up they hide a clause in the fine print that says you have to renew twice. They can't manage to sell a profit enough people even want they rely on scamming people out of their money. I've sent in five emails now and they don't even forward them to a human. They just say they're busy and then send you a survey "how was our customer service??" A little pathetic tbh. Business model and customer service need some SERIOUS help bc this a pretty bad look.

They have a great selection of books and the customer service team is great and helpful and very friendly.

I have problems with my eyesight which affects my reading. I have had 5 surgical procedures on my eyes. I am a senior. My subscription was closed. I contacted BOTM, and they were very considerate. They reinstated my gift subscription.

So far I am happy with my BOTM subscription. The only thing I am not a fan of is hardcover books. I find them harder to hold when reading and prefer only paperback books. I wish there was an option to choose paperback. I also didn’t realize the books would be special BOTM editions and they look a little cheap because of that.

Wonderful books to choose from! It’s so enjoyable to get to select a new book each month. My kids have given me my BOTM club membership for the past two Mothers’ Days and there truly is no better gift!

I LOVE BOTM CLUB! THE ONLY THING I WOULD SAY TO ADD TO IT IS BEING TO ADD BOOKS YOU DIDNT GET FROM BOTM. I WAS ABLE TO DO IT IN THE PAST BUT I CAN'T DO IT ANYMORE BECAUSE I HAVE READ ALOT OF BOOKS THAT I WISH BOTM HAD. THE BOOKS ARE EVEN AUTHORS THEY HAVE CARRIED BEFORE BUT AREN'T CARRYING SEQUENCE BOOKS OR MORE BOOKS THEY HAVE WRITTEN.

I love BOTM and look forward to new books every month. The delivery is fast and I love to read and leave reviews. Highly recommend!!

Every month it’s like my birthday or Christmas over and over again ! I can’t wait for the books to come out and then when I decide which books I want, it’s so much fun to wait for the package to come in the mail. It’s the gift that keeps on giving.

I joined to try to expand my literary palate and I wasn’t disappointed. BOTM picks book I otherwise would have missed and now that they offer up to seven books to choose from, it’s even more helpful. Even when I’m not feeling their choices (which is rare), I can always look at members fave and pick from them. They give good synopsis and categories the book fall into so I know what genre and themes it contains. I can’t recommend BOTM enough!

I love having the opportunity to get early release books & 3peat authors. The books are shipped extremely fast and free!!

I love the fact I can get a book (or 2) delivered to me each month. It's also nice we can skip if the books of the month are not your taste.

I have been a Book of the Month member for several years. I look forward to seeing my choices each month which always include a variety of genres with some familiar authors and new authors to try. This month there were 3 books that interested me. The books are reasonably priced and arrive within a few days after I choose them. I decided on one book this month but have purchased more than one many times. If I am not excited about a certain month’s choices, I can skip that month. I will be a Book of the Month fan for life!

I love that Book of the Month is consistent month to month. I like that the books are specific to BOTM and can not be purchased elsewhere.

Book of the Month is absolutely amazing! Not only am I able to feed my book and reading addiction at an amazing price, but the customer service and staff are absolutely amazing! I am honored to be a bff and I have no intention of ever ending my subscription.

I really like BOTM. The shipments are really fast, and normally they have something that interests me. They also encourage me to read a larger variety of books. It’s a really fun and rewarding subscription. The prices are normally a little less than buying a hardcover at a book store.

The books selection is pretty varied, although I feel it leans towards trendy/girl power over strong writing and stories. I’ve had to be incredibly choosey in order to ensure I’m getting books that aren’t juvenile levels of writing. A few years ago I rarely skipped months, the past 2-3 years I’ve skipped at least 3 months per year. I’ve lost trust that the books I’m getting are well written and not just “girl power for the sake of girl power”

I dislike the challenge and how it’s 15 books. It requires you to buy add ons in addition to the monthly cost. And if you ever skip a month, you’re basically out of the challenge. I don’t mind the extra categories, but that on top of 15 books is outrageous. Especially if you’ve got other books to read.

Overall, it’s fine. There are some good books, but it’s definitely gone downhill in recent years (I’ve been a member since 2018).
