Do not use this company have had zero work in 7 months every time you gone on a new job it has already gone but you don’t know until you click on.
Was sold a dream on the phone took money instantly then another call stating they can enhance my account paid more money. Can’t get out of it either. No cooling off period. Even sub contractors available are inverted and the ones I used were shocking.
Check a trade all the way. Avoid this company ! Have to wait another 5 months before I can get out of the contract

Great experience from start to finish. I placed my job on the site and within 10 minutes i got a call from Greg to ask me about the work that i needed doing. The next day he turned up on time and completed the work quickly. He even tidied up any mess that he made. The quality of the job was great. I will definatly use him again for future projects.

I have been a trades member on book a builder for over eight years and have found it to be one of the premier platforms, for getting your company construction skills out there , their are lots of benefits for the house owners looking to have there jobs done , safe pay and the such . check it out great platform if you require builders/ trades people

An absolutely awful company! They sell you an absolute dream over the phone claiming they have multiple jobs in your area and they are ‘yours’ as soon as you pay the £600 deposit, months later there have still be minimal leads and everytime we call them up they just say to wait and they promise it will pick up. They also have taken £400 out of my own bank account without consent for a website hosting fee, when I advised I am currently on holiday and will discuss this with them over the phone but they just took the money without my permission. After multiple phone calls advising we want to complain they are claiming there is nothing they can do.

An amazing experience using Jack, he was friendly, tidy, knowledgeable and took his time to ensure the work looked perfect. He didn’t rush to get to the next job and took care of our materials to ensure everything was not damaged or scratched upon fitting! Would absolutely use JK again.

BookaBuilderUK is by far one of the most disappointing and misleading platforms I’ve ever encountered. I joined in 2023 as a tradesman, paid £418, and received maybe 2–3 poor quality leads in an entire year. Not a single job came from this service. Absolute waste of money.

Then came the real scam: they auto-renew your membership without any proper warning. Buried in the fine print, they say you must cancel 60 days before renewal – but of course, they don’t send any reminder until after it’s too late. I only received a renewal notice one week before my term ended, by which time they said it was already too late to cancel. How is that even legal?

When I refused to continue due to their lack of performance, they simply said “you agreed to the terms” and threatened me with legal action. What kind of respectable company treats people like that? I was bullied into renewing something I clearly didn’t want.

The second year? Even worse. Zero leads. Not even one. I emailed them months in advance—several times, in fact—asking NOT to be renewed again. I even emailed them 365 days in advance. No response. No confirmation. No cancellation. Nothing.

Their phone line? No one ever picks up. Their email? Total silence. I asked them to delete my data, deactivate my account—again, nothing. It’s like they’ve disappeared but still want to steal your money year after year.

This is not a service. It’s a trap. Their entire model relies on catching people off guard with auto-renewals, ignoring them when they want to cancel, and forcing them to pay again. It’s shady, it’s unethical, and honestly, it’s disgraceful.

I’ll never forgive this company for the money they took from me. I wouldn’t recommend this platform to my worst enemy.

If I could give this company a zero star rating I would. AVOID AVOID AVOID is all I can say about this cowboy outfit. Ive started out self employed and have been using my Builder. They were brilliant but a little on the pricier side. So I was contacted by book a builder. They promised jobs jobs jobs. I signed up to them at a cost of over £500 on 15th June, I had access to 15 leads ALL from middle of May- needless to say when I contacted these potential customers, their work requirment had already been fulfilled. Since 15th June I have a grand total of 2 leads which were not even worth quoting. I have requested a refund on multiple occasions, Still within the first 15 days cooling off period. But this has been declined, apparently due to their costs involved in setting me up. (FAKE NEWS) this company phone and pressure you into paying a yearly fixed fee and then you cant ever get them to answer the phone..

If you are in the Trade - DO NOT sign up with this company.
