I bought a couple of dresses on 28th May. Thought it was legit website looked secure, had a Sydney address and even when I had a quick look at trust pilot the review score was pretty good (i do admit i didnt read the reviews or take note of the dates the reviews were made - at the time all with in a couple of days).

The second I paid, it felt like a scam. I reciecevd emails to review the clothes straight away to win money back even without the product - I didnt participate in.

The biggest redflag was the Shipping tracker on the Shop app shows the parcel was coming from China. Shop app, updates have been odd, noting the parcel was on international flight from china but latest update shows it has arrived in china.

Now seeing some of the more recent reviews since my purchase, Im not expecting much, if it ever arrives.

The products and images are beautiful; the website was easy to navigate, and sizing quizzes help you choose a size to fit your shape. The clothes look amazing. The ordering process was simple and quick.
I am super excited to receive my dress.

Can’t wait to see the dress I ordered and see the quality if it looks and feels good the same way as looking at the pictures online.

I purchased from Bondi Rose believing I was buying from an Australian-based business due to the Australian-themed branding. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.

Firstly, the quality of the product did not match the photos advertised on the website. The item I received looked significantly different from the images used to market the product and did not meet my expectations based on the description and photographs provided. I found the advertising to be misleading.

When I contacted customer service to resolve the issue, I requested a prepaid return label as the product was not as represented. Instead of addressing my concerns, I was repeatedly offered partial refunds and discounts to keep the item. After numerous emails, I was eventually provided with a return address, only to discover that returns must be sent to Shenzhen, China, at the customer’s expense.

Had I known that returns would need to be shipped internationally, I would have reconsidered purchasing from this company. I also believe customers should be aware that the Australian branding may give the impression that the business operates locally, when my return was directed to an overseas address.

As a consumer, I expect products to resemble the advertised photos and for businesses to provide a fair resolution when they do not. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

I would encourage potential customers to carefully review the return policy, ask where returns are processed, and consider the potential costs involved before making a purchase. Based on my experience, I would not purchase from this company again.

Poor quality, mass produced clothing. No brand labelling or even sizing tags on dresses. Fabric quality is very poor as is the sewing. Hemlines and fabric ook completely different to pictures. Clearly a knock off product using a mail redirection in Sydney to mask as an Aussie brand.

Arrived in plastic bags mark with Asia writing. Not an Australian or USA company. Redirection label underneath delivery label shows item form Asia factory.

poor quality and different from the listing images. Returns are not easy or straightforward as stated on the website. returns are resisted as much as possible and must be shipped to china.

This was my first time buying from your site and it was a very easy transaction, and your communication has been fantastic.

Horrible service. I wanted a refund for a dress but they would only give me alternatives on partial refund and store credit. The website clearly states you can get a refund within the 30 days. I have had about 15 emails back and forth of me asking for a refund and every reply back was an alternative on a partial refund and was not accepting my ask for a refund. Such a scam. Never order from them. They ship from China and is not based in Sydney.

Honestly, I had never heard of your brand before.

One of my friends showed me that specific dress, and I instantly fell in love with it. I've been looking for the perfect dress for over two weeks now. When I saw that dress, I was genuinely in awe.

I'm not someone who makes quick decisions, but I immediately went to your website and started looking through your other collections. I was amazed. The designs were beautiful, the quality looked fantastic, and free shipping was a huge bonus.

I actually pulled over and parked my car on the way home just so I could place the order. I honestly couldn't wait!

Please don’t go by what’s advertised. They do not give any refunds and you are stuck with their merchandise if you don’t like it.
It’s a SCAM

Be warned…DO NOT purchase from this online business!
If I could give this business zero stars I would! I ordered a dress I expected to be of ball gown quality which had been reduced (they claimed) from $225 to $80. When it arrived it had a hole in the flimsy plastic packaging and this had also gone through the flimsy plastic zip lock bag causing severe damage to the dress. I sent pics to the company who refused a refund only replacement or exchange for another dress to the value of $80.

The dress was too big in the bust and the electric pleating was damaged from the poor manner in which they package their dresses, hence, a replacement was not suitable. They had also increased all their sale item prices to $124.95 which means I would need to spend more money to exchange for another item and did not trust their product quality.

Essentially the product failed to meet my expectations - in fact fell well below and they seem to believe their terms and conditions override consumer law.

They refused a refund.😡 I called the Dept of Fair Trading and they stated to put in a complaint which I am in the process of completing. I have since seen this garment on multiple websites at varying prices. It misleads its customers and ignores consumer law.
