APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH ZERO HELP.
I tried to preorder the new Ghost album (Blasphemy! Heresy! Mystery! zoetrope) on the Loma Vista website the morning it was made available for preorder.
I had the item in my cart numerous amounts of times. I went to checkout, the item still in my cart but when
I tried to pay I was told that it couldn’t be sent to my address. I tried my own address here in Ireland and I also tried my cousins address (which I use when I can’t get items delivered to Ireland) in Largo, Florida but each time I was told it couldn’t be shipped to my address. I’ve never had this issue before purchasing from Loma Vista. I always put the item in my cart, go to checkout and pay. It’s always been that simple.
During the course of today I had two separate emails from Loma Vista (4 hours apart from each other) letting me know that my item was still in my cart waiting to be purchased. Yet when I tried to purchase it, I told it couldn't be posted to both Ireland & the United States. I reached out to Loma Vista about what was happening and I received the following reply;
"During checkout, you will be asked to provide a shipping address. If your location is listed in the country dropdown menu, we can ship there. If it is not listed, then unfortunately we are unable to ship there.
Some items have shipping restrictions due to licensing agreements, which is out of our control. There are also temporary shipping restrictions in place for many countries for various reasons.
We apologize for any inconvenience."
This is absolute rubbish. I have used Loma Vista on numerous occasions and had items posted to Ireland with no problems whatsoever. There was no shipping restrictions on this item.
6000 units of Blasphemy! Heresy! Mystery! were apparently available worldwide. 1000 for the UK market, 4700 for the US market. 300 left over going where????
In a nutshell, there was a glitch on Loma Vista's website and they were far from helpful when I reached out. Appalling customer service.
