The Manifique was beautiful. The crew and captain were wonderful and friendly. The food on board was a gourmet experience from day 1. The guides, Leo and Ana were friendly and took great care of our groups. They shared a great deal of knowledge about the places we biked and both had great senses of humor.

We did the Amsterdam to Paris trip that began on 25 August 2026. From the moment it started until the ride to the Paris airport, the trip was fantastic. Our guides, Ana and Leo, took great care of us and while I would always like to ride a little faster and a little longer per day, the pace and distance made sense for a diverse group of people and allowed everyone to fully participate and enjoy the sites, sounds and smells of the Netherlands and Belgium.

The boat crew: Captain Michael; Sailor Jowel; Hosts Ingeborg and Vio; and Chef Sidi - were all wonderful. The cabin on board, we had one of the upper suites on the Magnifique X, was really nice. We had room for our things and the heated towel warmer was a nice touch.

The climate control on the boat and in the room was perfect.

The bikes we used on the trip - almost everyone had e-bikes - were nice. The battery life is good and for those of us who like to push a little harder, they pedal nicely without the assist turned on.

I would highly recommend this trip.

The crew really made this a 5 star tour . The food was excellent our tour guides were kind and knowledgeable and patient. Everyone was so friendly and warm. The boat was kept immaculate and the tour stops along the way were so special and unique . I would highly recommend this trip again!

Very nice trip. The staff is amazing. It’s extremely well organized. They came to help us when we had an issue with our bike. It was great -and the sceneries were great.
I’d just say a few things: 1- you need nice weather otherwise it’ll be a different experience and 2- the non electric bikes they provide are not amazing (they’re very much city bikes with few gears so not the best to ride 60k a day)

This route was an alternate to what we were originally supposed to do because of a tunnel issue on the original route. Communication with Boat and Bike was good. Very responsive to emails and questions sent in advance of the trip.

The tour guides were very good. Friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. Frans entertained us with his wonderful piano skills in the evening - an unexpected surprise. The entire crew was great.

The food was quite good with decent variety. One night venison was served which we thought was a risky decision - having an alternate option would have been nice as some guests did not eat dinner that night. It would have been nice to be able to purchase a glass of wine rather than having to purchase an entire bottle.

The route was great. Lots of beautiful forest pathways. The morning coffee stops were very much appreciated by everyone. There were some interesting sites to visit.

The rooms are VERY tight. We had a good idea they were small from the photos but the reality is that you can’t really have 2 people getting ready in the room at the same time. It’s not a deal breaker but you should know before you go. Incorporating a few additional small shelves would have been helpful.

The size of the boat would be better suited to 20 people than 24 but it is what it is.

This was our 2nd trip with Boat and Bike so we knew what to expect. It’s a wonderful way to explore a country and see things you otherwise would never see.

Guides and staff and chef were wonderful. Everything well planned out. Beds were comfy. E-bikes were in perfect condition and seats were fine. Had a blast even though we got caught in rain a couple times.

Our tour was amazing! The route was beautiful and the time spent in each town was perfect. The entire staff were exceptional , with Niels and Caroline going the extra mile everyday. They were the best guides we could have hoped for. Kind, considerate and so knowledgeable. Great company, highly recommend!

The ship was fabulous! Very comfortable. The captain and all the staff were very friendly. The chef was awesome! I would do this again in a heartbeat. It is also my third trip with this group.

It was great! Food, cleanliness and staff all wonderful. Our group however felt that the days and time spent in castles was too much. Cycling distance great, but less time spent en route will ensure we could have a quick rest and then visit the village/city/town later on. We missed out on that experience due to too much time at palaces and castles

Wonderful experience through a beautiful countryside. My first time with Boat Bike Tours, but not the last! The boat accommodations, bar and meals were superb. Only thing better that the boat, bar and equipment was the staff. Anna, Ivy, Peter, Coury, Patrick, Flendo and Rutger really made the trip extra special..

The staff was very positive, helpful and professional. Good food. The bikes had a very high standard. The app was very helpful. Good information both before the trip and during the trip.

Our bike-boat adventure from
Mantua to Venice was a trip of a lifetime for us!! Everything about our week in Italy was awesome!!!! Our guide, Daniella, was attentive, kind, knowledgeable and lead well with Adrianno and Mario. Our cooks, Dani and Francesco, prepared delicious creative food. I have celiacs and must eat gluten free. Every meal they beautifully prepared GF options for me. The captain, Jano, and the engineer, Samuele, did a great job running the beautiful Ave Maria. We will never forget our amazing trip!!

Three things made our Bike and Boat trip on the Moselle River fabulous. First, the flexibility of the headquarters and onboard staff dealing with low water on the Rhine and building a replacement route on the fly. Great teamwork, and nice job on the communication\ of changes! Second, the onboard experience was amazing. Can‘t say enough good things about the service staff, and the awesome kitchen team that prepared excellent meals; the 4 course dinners were wonderful. Finally, the cycling guides that helped us enjoy the riding were a pleasure. Both Andreas and Rene went the extra mile to help us have fun and they shared a lot of insider ideas, not to mention their flexibility adapting to a re-worked trip on the fly. We were supposed to cruise and cycle the Rhine and Moselle for a week, but low water on the Rhine prohibited cruising. In the end, our group of 4 couples could not have been happier with the route along the Moselle. My one quibble is the wine onboard. We cruised one of the premier wine regions of Europe, but the standard wines onboard were from Spain…Go Green and source local wine! (We did manage to find plenty of great Moselle wines, though)

I love the 3 boat bike tours I’ve been on. I love the quality of the food that’s served in the morning and evening. I love biking to see the small towns along the water roots that otherwise would be impossible to visit by car or even vacation. I love being able to move all day long. The bikes are a fabulous quality; they allow you to sit upright, preserving your spinal form making it easy to bike for prolonged periods. The crew is fantastically, supportive and helpful and moving the bikes to the shore, preparing them for your ride.

The guides, the crew and the quality of the bike. Rooms very clean and staff always helpful. The daily tours were adapted depending on the weather, it was fantastic.Tip: bring a plastic box to pack one sandwich for your lunch, this way it stays intact in your travel bike bag.

Excellent tour leader. Fabulous crew. A great cycling trip throygh Belgium and the Netherlands.

Guidance was good, food was good, beautiful route,even though Budapest was by bus. They did the best they could under the circumstances

Fantastic biking experience through marvellous landscapes, well organised, easy for self-guided tours. Experience on board was hectic, with tight schedules for eating times or embarking/disembarking, creating a hectic atmosphere. Sad for a holiday, and for the feeling of not being welcome. Too much industrialisation of procedures, too much insistinc on tips recommendation, and many extras to be paid on top of booking fee. Stay away from the drinks packages, too many drinks are excluded!
