This bank is beyond ridiculous for…

This bank is beyond ridiculous for their customer service!! I would not even give them one star. They definitely do not take their customers seriously. Huge lack of respect! It has been the same situation for a few years. What a joke!

Sorry to say but these people have no clue what they are doing.

I am writing to formally complain about the entirely unacceptable handling of my wife’s succession account by your institution.

Over the course of several months, my wife was required to attend more than five separate appointments simply to open a succession account — a process that should be straightforward for a competent organization. At each appointment, we were met with staff who demonstrated a clear lack of knowledge of basic succession requirements, raising serious concerns about your internal training and procedural standards.

This situation is completely unacceptable and demonstrates a serious lack of competence and internal coordination.

Your institution required translated copies of documents, claiming that documents in English were not acceptable. These documents were requested in order to close my wife’s late father’s account as part of the succession. Instead of properly handling the estate file, you wrongly closed my wife’s personal account, an error that is both serious and inexcusable.

As a direct result of your mistake, my wife was forced to spend considerable time calling to have her account reopened. During this period, payments were missed and financial consequences occurred, solely because of your institution’s error and not due to any fault on her part.

Furthermore, appointments were repeatedly scheduled with individuals who had no understanding of succession requirements, including financial advisors who admitted they were unable to assist. On several occasions, appointments were made with representatives who were not even located in the same region, further highlighting a complete lack of coordination and professionalism.

Ultimately, each interaction ended with the same unacceptable conclusion: no one could help. What should have been a straightforward succession process turned into a chaotic and stressful ordeal due entirely to your mismanagement.

Your representatives repeatedly provided contradictory or incorrect information, forcing us to restart the process multiple times due solely to their incompetence. Only after numerous failed attempts did your team finally confirm that all requirements had been met and that the matter was approved.

We were explicitly informed that we would receive confirmation or further communication within two days. It has now been over two weeks, and there has been no response whatsoever. This complete lack of follow-up is unacceptable and reflects a profound disregard for your clients’ time and responsibilities.

The delays, misinformation, and failure to communicate demonstrate a level of inefficiency and negligence that falls far below any reasonable professional standard. We have lost months due to your staff’s inability to perform basic duties, and we are still left without resolution.

Losing a love one is already hard BNC make it harder...

until this day this issue is not fixed. sorry to say but these people have no clue what they are doing.

I applied for a small consolidation…

I applied for a small consolidation loan at National Bank, despite having a strong payment history where I’ve never missed a payment and often pay more than once a month. I’ve always been financially responsible, yet their process was vague, dismissive, and based on obscure criteria that no one could clearly explain.

Even when I escalated my complaint, I was told that the complaints department was only there to “listen,” not to review or reverse the decision — as if I needed therapy instead of fair treatment. This is unacceptable. National Bank should value responsible clients and provide transparency, not condescending and confusing service.

Its been an hour an am still waiting…

Its been an hour an am still waiting for someone to pick up. Im on my 3rd call to this lame bank to get my credit card. This bank is getting worst by the days. Apparently my address was not properly changed, so i need to wait for days to get my card😔

Bad service and never any way to reach a supervisor

Hats off to Bank National for transferring me to the wrong department three times with an hour on hold every time and having all of their representatives refuse to bring on a supervisor, not to mention take the complaints against themselves. Not care at all for clients whatsoever!
