As usual the prices from BMD were very competitive and the ordering process seamless as usual. Received messages and tracking information for the delivery which despite being in rush hour were spot on. The delivery driver Pawel went above and beyond when dropping of our supplies to the exact area within our loading bay when many would have just dropped outside the roller shutter

Aggressive drivers
Driving on the M1 and driver was very aggressive, narrowly missing multiple accidents. Wouldn't put any support towards a company who take no consideration for others, particularly when in a vehicle that can kill an entire family in one.

Products fine, delivery and customer service unreliable. Don't use if you're on a deadline..
I was told 36 hours (at approx 1630) prior to delivery an item wasn't in stock and not available until the following week. I could work around this but the following day they informed me they had cancelled my delivery with the rest of the materials (this was on the day before delivery was due). Whilst they talk about understanding the frustration and impact they've caused, there wasn't much genuine effort made by the sales manager to help resolve the issue. My only option was to accept delivery at the next available opportunity at their convenience which I do not consider to be them making "every effort" to resolve the issue. A complete lack of taking accountability for the mistake putting all the risk and cost impact on the customer. I've had 2 successful orders prior to this and the products are good, albeit that the PIR insulation board delivered was a bit battered but I appreciate these are relatively fragile and I was able to work around the damaged sides.

When we informed you on November 26th about the shortage of 18mm chipboard, we offered 22mm as an alternative to minimize disruption. We also appreciate that you requested a refund for the chipboard while still wanting the rest of the materials delivered on time.
Unfortunately, due to an unexpected transport issue, the entire delivery was held back, and we informed you on November 27th that delivery would only be possible early the following week. We sincerely apologize for the late notice and the impact this had on your schedule. Our sales manager, made every effort to provide alternatives and keep communication open, but we acknowledge that this situation caused significant inconvenience.
While we’re pleased to hear that you found the products on previous orders to be of good quality, we regret that this particular experience fell short. We’ve reviewed the circumstances to ensure that we can better handle similar situations in the future and provide improved reliability for our customers.
