Brilliant service

Having recently placed an order with bluesmokelabs.com I was more than satisfied with the service. My shipping was upgraded free of charge to next day delivery and everything was well packed and I also got ore than I ordered, some packs of componants that were meant to have 3 items in had 5-6 instead, will definately shop there again.

Overall it was a good shopping experience and in my 30+ years of buying componants this was one of the easiest(guest checkout) ways of getting what I wanted the fastest(free upgrade on shipping).

Awful communication

An interesting range of unusual items at good prices, but after service is incredibly poor.

I ordered a bunch of items that were all in stock and supposedly ready for immediate despatch. About a week later I'd heard nothing.

I chased the order, and received a couple of mysterious refunds from Paypal, with no explanation as to what they were for. A few days later, I received the order with a couple of items missing (whose prices matched the refunds, so fair enough - but still no explanation).

I emailed asking for confirmation that the refunds were for the missing items, but no reponse. I emailed the published contact address, asking whether the address worked - but still no response. I've also asked for datasheets and product information for the products I ordered (the web store has virtually no data) and still no response.

On the upside, they did include a free item in my order, worth about £10, presumably as an apology for the delay / missing items - but again, there was no actual explanation.

If they can sort out their communications issues, I'd probably use them again, but I definitely won't use a retailer that refuses to talk to me.
