Unacceptably poor service and only average food
We had table for seven family members booked for 1830 on15th September 2026, two of whom we had not seen for many years and another just returned from service abroad.
It was at least 45 minutes before our orders were taken and over an hour before any food arrived and a further half hour before our mains were served.
Sadly the food was at best average and charging almost £30 for a bottle of ordinary white Pinot Grigio seemed exorbitant.
Unfortunately as one of our guests paid the bill we had no opportunity to request the service charge stated on your website be removed.
The whole experience was extremely disappointing as previous family visits had proved good which does makes us wonder if there’s been a change in management/ownership.
Booking more dining covers than be properly serviced by kitchen and staff is very unprofessional and unlikely to encourage future visits by family or friends but luckily there are numerous other restaurants locally.
